Technically I guess ? You can't record with it or anything like that - it's more of an FM synth with a very powerful sequencer.

Hey great stuff. Been considering adding a faderfox and Elektron box. Can the pc12 control multi machines? Any thoughts on a first Elektron if looking for multitimbral synth features? Digitone vs Syntakt?

Yes! You can control multiple units with the PC-12.

Question: what happens to the CC values when you do a pattern reload? Do they stay at the values sent by the controller, or do they jump back to the saved values? If it’s the latter, what happens when you move the encoders on the controller? I really would like some external controls for my Syntakt, but use pattern reload as a performance tool quite heavily and would like to know what I’m getting myself into there.

They restart from one pattern to the next - that's one big problem (IMO) with the Digitakt.

@@LiamKillenShorts This is unfortunately exactly what I suspected. It's a bit of a shame, as it would be supremely useful to be able to use an external controller for the Syntakt's mixer pages, especially as the digital and analogue tracks don't even fit on one page. Is there any way for an external controller to get feedback that this has occurred?
