I've been thinking the same thing personally about having nothing on the desk. I keep seeing all these setups where it almost feels like people are trying to find anything and everything they can to fill the desk space with desk shelfs and stuff but for me that's just more stuff to look at and play with and get mad at bad organization.

I too live in a small space (studio apartment). I telecommute so I have a lot of clutter that can't be avoided, so I try to keep my personal use setup as simple as possible. But it doesn't even come close to your clean, minimalist setup.

It’s tough to keep everything in its own separate space when you only have so much room. I appreciate that. Let’s both see how our spaces evolve through this new year!

@@jaredeckert BTW, I too have an MBP, but it's the M1 Pro MBP 14 (16GB/1TB), a refurbished model. Excellent device to build a desk setup around.
