For stockings, we have always done treats, socks, lip balm, hand cream, practical items. The kids are now way into adulthood and we still do the same things! I also write a note for each telling them what i love about them and thanking them for being wonderful!

I love this - I’m expecting my first and love seeing a measured, joy filled Christmas. Love that many of their gifts will enrich their faith, and foster their hobbies and life skills. My favorite had to be the “church purse” what a cutie 👛

You are so very elegant as women and mama. I love all of your ideas for Christmas. We have kids the same age. One of my kids had a procedure and is up from anesthesia. Together we watched your video twice. :) My little one with me right now is 7 as well. So this gave great ideas for him. He even smiled when you talked about the cooking kit. For stockings we definitely do treats as well as the little oranges in the toe of the stocking. I like to do things like Bible highlighters since I always get him a new devotional as one of his gifts. My son turns 11 a few days before Christmas & he's always asking me to time him on how fast he can do things 😂 so I'm also putting an old fashioned stop watch in there. He enjoys having a really nice pen that writes well so I like to get one themed with whatever he's currently into. A few years ago when he was younger I put a giant magnifying glass in his stocking and oh man he had a blast with it out in the garden!

This has been the best video thus far for "What I got my children for Christmas." It is all life skills and not clutter or electronics. Bibles are even given as presents. Christ is left out of his own birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video and keeping the true meaning of Christmas.

What wonderful gifts! I know my 9 year old will love the prarie dress....she has a thrifted bonnet she has been enjoying. The wooden bowling set is adorable! As a Mom of 4 teens and 4 young children, I think this is something that can be enjoyed by everyone. Thanks for sharing!

I sew a lot they told you to size up due to being cotton. Cotton will shrink considerably. Bamboo is the best doesn’t shrink after washing and gets softer each wash.

As a seasoned cook of 60 yrs. American Test kitchen will be a very detailed and difficult book for her to learn from. Even I would not try to cook from that cookbook. I say this to hope you find a beginner cookbook for her

Love the John Deere book!! I'm bookmarking that for my oldest. Couple of my favorite gifts I'm giving my 4yr and 2yr: - a tin John Deere bank - wooden train track bridges - hobby horses - toys off our local buy nothing group!
