I haven't always been minimalist when it comes to our homeschool set-up. In years past, when we were living in our home in the city, I had all of our homeschool stuff in the dining room taking up way too much space in multiple bookcases and cubbie bins. While it did keep everything in one place, I didn't love how much space we had to dedicate to ALL of the homeschool things. After getting my feet wet with homeschooling, I also realized that it doesn't take much stuff to have a productive homeschool. Also, here on the homestead, we actually have much less space in our living and kitchen areas, so getting creative with how I use our space is a must. Over time, my style and preferences for organizing have become much more minimal and I think that the results of this type of clutter-free living help us all to feel more relaxed and productive with our daily homeschool lessons.
