Welcome to our channel! My name is Jennifer and my family and I are minimalists living in Florida. This channel will document how we live simply and minimally. Our first video is a tour of our minimalist house. We moved a couple of months ago from a two bedroom apartment. We needed a larger space because we work and home school. We were able to get this house at a lower cost due to repairs that it needed. We hope you enjoy the video :)

I LOVE the way you have your home! It has such a calm and inviting appearance. I much prefer the look of your home compare to the homes that are shown on those renovation shows. The simplicity in your home is just so nice. I LOVE your diningroom/ eating area; no side furniture to make the room smaller and more to dust and clean. Your kitchen has a nice open and airy feeling. It was mentioned in your video that you would like to put an island in the center. However if you like the open airy flow in the kitchen, then maybe consider some kind of portable item that either moves on wheels or folds up when you don't need the extra cooking space. Thanks for sharing.

Just found your channel and must say the living room for me personally would be too minimal, I would as a minimalist myself add some plants, a blanket and a TV stand, but not more as well 🥰

We can at the moment because the kids are still small enough. Sometimes they just sit on the floor with their pillows. That being said we actually do not watch the tv very often, less than an hour a day so the couch is mostly empty:)

What is the square footage of the house?

my dear, "there isnt any space to preparing food"???? You should see my kitchen...and even my mom prepared food for 20 people in a kitchen of 8qm.....so your kitchen is luxury - especially for a "minimalist" ... or am i wrong... and your desk is messy? i would love to have your problems^^ much love

There are many different types of minimalism. You don’t have to be as extreme as I am. I just wanted to show our version and you can follow some aspects of what we did or do something entirely different:)

My husband says, Yes, he thinks that is what it is. He bought it because he thinks it's a beautiful flag and he thought it would look nice in his office:) However, it's not part of his background, he just likes it.
