Robyn Dismon for me the doodles almost scared me away from BUJOs then I started looking for BUJOs that are more minimalist; something that I know I’d be able to follow because it won’t take me very long to layout. Colorful BUJOs are beautiful and amazing, just scary for people who’re just interested in something simple that they can stay on top of easily 🙂
@LiLBitsDK
@LiLBitsDK 4 жыл бұрын
@@jakeenamckay5026 even more scary for people who are not creative... she tracks the stuff she feels she want to and stuff is changed when they need changes... I love her mood/stress tracker, it's simple, no fancy design and very telling. I am not artistic enough to do any interesting doodle (is it pretty? yes, I just can't do it pretty) but she showed various different setups as she found the system that actually worked for her (might seem messy with the changes) but things evolve and the final layout was pretty minimalist.

Elsa please do more videos about bullet journaling. I never knew there was such a thing!! I'm 67 and have always done something similar but not as detailed info as yours in just a regular planner. I love color coding things in my planner, my husband says I play with my planner and color pens like a kid but I love doing it. I'm gonna watch this video over and take notes, it's amazing! You have inspired this ole hippie to do an "official bullet journal"!! I'm getting excited about learning more! Thanks and please do more videos on this subject. Also I'm so sorry about your grandpa, I've lost all my family, parents, grandparents and siblings, I'm the only one left my best advice is when you miss them remember they live in your heart forever and think of all the good times you had together. FortheBudgies It's not minimalist as far as minimizing useful data; it's minimalist in that there isn't time and effort wasted on decorations. I would probably start with something like this and wind up decorating it with doodles as I sit through various meetings-which-should-have-been-an-email throughout the year.

@@heathensaplenty4184 What do u mean 'time wasted on decorations'? You don't get 2 decide what ANYONES bullet journal looks like. It most certainly is not your place 2 say that journals with color or artistic ability r any less functional than the ones that mimic pages out of a phone book.(which is also a choice). Any effort put into making yourself happy is NEVER a waste of time. To each his OWN. Every flip through I've seen in the past 6 months have been bold, full of life and quotes 2 help uplift and inspire. Unlike your statement.

Thanks for the glimpse into your planning method. I've been using the Franklin Covey planning system for many years, and religiously since 2005. My suggestion for those who want to get into planning is do it. Find out what works best for you and stick to it. I have my own method which works for me and I suggest you do the same. There is no single "right" way. I have usually planned using the simple Franklin Covey "Original" layout. I have experimented with the other fancier layouts, but I like the way Original works. This year I decided to begin tracking what foods I eat, my weight, daily steps, etc. I facilitated this with stickers from the "Happy Planner". I like that these stickers often act as a template for entering and tracking your data. So far so good. Elsa, your planning method is very good, and I will take some ideas to make my planning better. Thanks for posting this video. My best to you, Barron, and Kamp. So sorry about your loss.

Elsa - we are all so saddened from hearing about your family's loss. You Grandpa inspired you and continues to live on through you and your interactions with all of us. And consequently you also inspire us to rise above and BEcome the Best Me that we can BEcome. I dont necessarily use a journal to write down my daily thoughts. But I do have a journal where I write down Interesting Subjects, Knowledge, etc. that I read about, or come across through my internet browsing experience. It is well-known that By Writing Something down Immediately when you read it or see it; that you are hard wiring your mind to more readily remember this fact or information. And also I check back every few days to renew my memory of these facts and interesting subjects that caught my attention. I have found this to be a huge help in remembering. Sadly I have C-PTSD and this has helped me immensely; because I have such a bad memory from my C-PTSD issues. There are many things we can enact into our lives that help us improve upon ourselves; and Journals are definitely one of those. Again; Thank You for sharing your journey. Our thoughts are with you and your family......

I’ve been hesitant to get started as I havent been sure which layouts and formats to use, worrying it wont be right. Now I see I can go a week or month at a time and see how it works. I have one for gratitude. I have one for research on RV’s planning and financial planning to move in the direction of full time living in a trailer, van or Class C RV. The last composition book is full of lots of information that I review, notes from books that I have read, quotes, gratitude, and RV information and it is not organized, but I still reference it. I will watch more about what others have put out there. Your bullet journal is fabulous, I had not heard of this before. Thank you so much for sharing, I really get so much from your channel. Thank you, thank you! Gigi

This is a perfect minimal journal as far as the elimination of the cutsie things. There was so many great additions and ways to track/format information. Thanks!!!

Just started a bullet journal a week ago and was immediately overwhelmed with all the gorgeous layouts people do and which notebook to buy. I finally calmed down, got a notebook at Michaels for $5 and dug in. I’m a chronic list-maker, former journaler and frequenter doodler, so this is a fun project for me. Thanks for sharing your layouts! I am still struggling with mine, but I know this is an ever-evolving process. Also, sorry to hear of your grandfather’s passing. I hope you have many wonderful memories of him. ❤️

Please do a video about the fertility awareness method. I've heard about it but I don't really know much about it. Also it would probably have to be a second video, but could you talk about how you deal with your period in the scamp?

This is so timely for me...of course, I don’t know when you made this, but I’m really planning to use your ideas in my own. I’ve made it a sketch/bullet journal and I was not feeling hugely creative so thank you for sharing your beautiful mind! You are one of my favourite people/couple/and Kamp!

Sorry to hear about your grandpa!! :( Well wishes your way. Portland in March! I wish I could meet you guys! I live in my trailer in Oregon :) A Lot of my minimizing and new food choices come from you guys! Also, this is amazing. I wish I was this organized. I would love more videos on the hormonal imbalance/and advice on how to work with that. I feel like the past few months, I have this going on as well. I have gotten vitamins and I am trying small things here and there, but it is nice to know you can track body temps, etc. Thanks, you're amazing!
