Not tryna kill your vibe with these boxes, but the guy giving you the prices is often off (telling you it’s worth more than it would realistically be sold for), sometimes by quite a large margin. Really appreciate you doing these openings Simon!

Hi simon, as a fellow soccer cards lover and collector. Imma share my honest opinion: 1) Yes these thick cards is better quality but it doesnt hold much value (except for really2 good players) for how much it cost to buy the box, especially with futera without the licensing. 2) You should give the more affordable set of soccer cards such as Panini EPL Prizm, Topps Finest, Topps Merlin, Panini Select EPL etc a chance. The cards from these sets is so much rarer and hard to pull which make the chase even more exhilarating. Imagine pulling 1/1 cards that the whole world is chasing. The cards holds even more value as well (not that you need more money) 3. For example, 23-24 topps finest have a great checklist such as Messi And Cristiano Ronaldo dual auto! Imagine pulling that. 4) Each sets that i said above have case hits! Meaning in 1 case there will be one super rare cards. Imagine pulling case hit Messi or Cr7! 5) Even better than case hit, there are also even harder to pull cards for example this year topps produce CR7 the grails collection! (Can google, the card is so sick!!!) 6) Castro is a great example of doing this card thing! He also pulls a lot of mad cards! Just my two cents opinion. You do realise Topps are the biggest producer of unlicensed cards? Topps cards are certainly not rare, massively over printed and the rare cards you are talking about are mostly sticker autos, plus most of the patches you have no idea where they came from. Great seeing other brands out there in the market making quality. Keep these videos coming Simon!

@@Peter-cr9vb you do realised that rare is limited print right? So 1/1, /5, /10 or the grails card which is probably 1 in 10 cases is still rare. The base or insert cards being overprint doesn’t affect the rare-ness 😊 and tbf about the patches i agreed with you, while some are non-related some of them does came from player worn and match worn relics. With the price of the box that should be expected. Unlike futera who can’t even put team/sponsor logos on their card which make it look cheap. 🤷‍♂️

@@Johnwoo998 I have seen a lot of Futera licensed stuff around but I think that is beside the point. Topps print more unlicensed than any other company out there. They printed over 100k of that basketball player recently alone. The euros stuff they did, many teams were missing the badge. Glad you agree with patches, has become a joke.

Good ol’ days ✨ and again I agreed with you about the recent euro set from topps, its mid at best. its not like im hating on futera or higher end cards. Its just that its kinda hard to get hold to without having to paid resell price which is pushing away most of the young ones trying to get into this hobby. Its sad but it is what it is 😥
