2 жыл бұрынToday is a sad day in the Mustang Community... Our buddy Brandon (Minion5.0) lost his 2015 Mustang GT which was totaled by a Tesla who was at fault. It's such an unfortunate situation and I hope we can come together and help him get back into a Mustang before Mustang Week.

I was actually the first to the scene of the wreck, looked a lot worse in person than on video but I'm glad Brandon is all good. I'm sure he'll come back better than before.

Bro, I kid you not. I traded my Triple yellow fbo big turbo e30 tuned focus ST for my mustang and some kid test drove the car at the dealership and totaled the car last weekend. The ST may not be my car now but it hurts me seeing my previous baby destroyed the way it was. Damn near killed me…

Jeez, it is a tough time for Mustangs. RacerX had his totaled in an accident bout a month ago. Please...anyone reading this, whether you have a Mustang or not, be careful and be safe out there. Someone loves you. A car can be replaced...you can't.

I hydroplaned on the highway earlier this year and had similar damage to his. Insurance didn’t total it and it took 3 months and $11k to fix but I’m glad to have been able to keep it. We put a lot of hard work into our cars and it’s scary to see how quickly they can be taken away. Glad Brandon is safe and I really hope he keeps his chin up

My dad did body work his whole life. This car and all cars can be done back to speck. It’s not cheap and being a 2015 the parts alone would total it. A good frame guy can get that car back up but I would insist on it being totaled and go get something new/newer. Keep your head up Brandon it is just a car. We still have you around and that’s the main thing.

Man, tough to see Minion looking like that. Brandon, at least you didn't get hurt. Seeing this brought flashbacks of me losing my Pacific green 97 Cobra by getting rammed by a guy blowing off a stop sign, knocking me into oncoming traffic. I think its totaled. Take the insurance money and get a newer 5.0. Try and stay positive man, things will get better.

My car got T boned by an equinox at 50 mph in the front passenger fender. It's a supercharged 2008 Shelby GT and it was pretty bad. The insurance company didn't total it and I found a really good shop that straightened everything out and now you can't even tell and actually drives better now than before the wreck. 10k in damages. So that's most likely not totaled. Wish I could post the before and after pics here.

Man, that would have killed my soul from a car person point of view but I’m glad Brandon and all involved are Ok! As long as I would be able to remove some of the parts to put on the new car or sale I would be to upset about it but Mustang Week is coming.😢

Honestly that car is 100% fixable, I would take it to the best shop out there to get it fixed. The way the car market is right now the insurance will offer a pretty penny but in return you’ll end up overpaying for anything used. Glad you are fine Brandon stay strong 💪🏽

Oh Brandon. I know the feeling. Damn deer came out of a city!....yes a city driveway and smashed my hood and front side panel on the driver side...I felt so sick about and didn't drive it until it was repaired. Best of luck bro.

It sucks seeing this happen. There have been 2 people close to your area that have had their mustangs wrecked. I hope that Brandon can get this figured out quick and be able to get another mustang soon!

Seriously when you went to see Brandon, I couldn’t bare the pain on his face, like he just wanted to crawl in a hole and be left alone… Brandon if you see my comment, PLEASE keep your head up and rebuild it, I’m praying that the frame didn’t get bent bad, I’d still build Minion no matter what and make it into a drag car or a cruiser and get a car for the channel

The frame is a lot stronger than you think. Looks like just sheet metal damage to me. Maybe some suspension damage but we will see what the adjuster says

Yeah, my car was rear ended last year and it was much, much worse than this. I was able to get it fixed, even with frame damage, and now I have a paid off car cause the other driver was @ fault.

I feel like he would enjoy a S197 but he’s too addicted to his interior in the S550. He got the digital dash and sync 3 and a bunch of carbon fiber stuff. It just wouldn’t be the same in a S197

That cars got frame damage and deployed airbags. Hope they total it and give you a check for more than what you owe on it. Take that check and get a 18+ Coyote and keep moving forward Brandon. Good looking out for yalls friend Derek and Romina!!

That's nothing compared to mine. Whole driver's side, hood, light and front bumper. Yeah they totaled it, but I kept it and fixed it for $12k. Still driving it 4 years later! Good luck on it!

Only thing that matters is if the frame is bent. A good body shop can fix that no problem but not sure how much insurance will cover

@@BrandonMirandavlogs I have a 2016 and if I was gonna buy something 2021 it would not be a regular GT with the transmission still being the mt82. Ford needs to switch completely to the tremec or something better.

When I was looking at my car if a used gt350 was 40k instead of 50k and up I would have bought one of those used to hold the value and not be scared with the transmission. they need to just give you the option to pay a little more for a different transmission. But if I was gonna go all out on a regular GT premium I’d just start with a Mach since it’s not that far off in price if it’s a GT premium with Performance Pack like your old car. Either way hope to see more videos for s550s stuff.

As long as the frame is straight it's totally fixable also wouldn't be too difficult to repair, also if you love the car and have good history fix it its will save you a lot.

@@karlhopkins713 has less to do with market and more to do with liability if he gets into a other accident the family can say the insurance knew the car was unsafe and still fixed it and then can sue its about liability not what the car is worth.

I’m a body tech. That car will never be right again. It’s a unibody… the days of full frame cars is long over. A laser frame/body machine could get it close.

I got rear ended in my 2016 ford fusion last year by a person going 90. They were able to somehow fix it to where it looks like nothing happened.
