Speaking of misspellings. It amazes me how many they are in comics when they want to write Spanish words in them. Either because the characters are on a Spanish speaking country or they do speak Spanish and they say something in said language. Amazes me because: 1. The writer should know better. And if they don´t know how to spell the word they can easily check (since Internet and prior to it with dictionaries and/or finding someone who spoke Spanish), 2. Where is the editor? and... ...3. I don´t know if this also happens if the characters speak in another language (German, French, Italian...) but I´m willing to say it doesn´t because they´re more familiar with said languages for whatever reason. And it is embarrasing given the fact that the comics are written in America. Not only do you have Mexico just at the South border but there are plenty of Spanish speakers in America. I´m sure they could find someone to ask them for the correct spelling. I´d understand if they had to write in Turkish since the language is extremely foreign. But Spanish?
