Great review, but I feel like games like that that accomplish everything they set out to do deserve a 10 or at least a 9 regardless of their tiny scope.

Not the same target audience at all. I had no idea GoW was this close to releasing, yet Minit was in my wishlist and I knew it came out.

I'm pretty sure it's determined by the size of the budget; who holds the publishing rights has nothing to do with it.

This isn't true. Many independent studios do not self publish. Independent Studio means the studio is not owned by anybody. For example, Insominac is independently owned, yet their Spider-Man game is being published by Sony. I work at an independent studio myself.

It's strange, because if you ask 10 people if Minit is an indie game, 9 of them will say 'yes' I guess at the end of the day, the problem lies with a very anemic vocabulary when it comes to defining what a game is.

Don't EVER pay for this game, I got it in a bundle for next to nothing and it's really not worth any sort of asking price outside that.
