When my sister was still a toddler, she would sometimes hide behind things or shut herself into places when she was crapping herself. Often loudly proclaiming "Gate! I need gate!". Not saying that's what Olive was doing but the clip of her shutting herself in the shed brought back humorous memories of my sister.

The rangers at the Kruger in South Africa used to take dogs when they went out on patrol in the park. I was very surprised to find out that the Jack Russell terrier was favoured by a lot of them. The reason was that despite their size they had huge courage, and were so alert that they were excellent early warning for the rangers and in a sticky situation would go all out to protect the rangers; often risking their own lives. More often than not lions would back down in the face of such a plucky and fierce little dog, but dogs did die. At the Kruger there is a memorial to all the dogs KIA in service to the park.

Never thought that id like mink. Thinking about getting some.
