Fat quarter quilting cotton for pouch lining
Fat eighth quilting cotton for the binding
Fat quarter foam stabilizer such as Soft and Stable (you can get at byannie.com) or Pellon
1 zipper 14’’ or longer zipper for easy attachment
Binding clips
Fabric pen such as Frixion pen
Utility scissors for trimming the zipper tape
Leather tag (optional. You can order on sewingillustration.com)
Basic sewing supplies

Love that you've done a video of the Trixie/pencil case ( BUT confusingly this is Pouch not pencil case which is another Trixie Pattern! ) I have made a few of these. No Baggy Lining - yes!! Videos make it so much clearer.

Minki - two questions on your TRIXIE Zip Pouch: 1) Did you cut your binding strips on the bias or straight grain? 2) your pattern says to cut the binding strips 2 1/4” but this KZfaq video says to cut them 2” - which is correct? Thanks for your help!

Hi Gwen, I cut bias straight grain. I personally like my binding 2” but for most of people 2 1/4” is easier to sew. So ai recommend 2 1/4” on my pattern.
