Best Tornado Druid Build to Clear The Pit Tier 100

Tornado Druids rejoice as Tier 100 is completed with a build that is fun and effective for the endgame. Early Tornado builds this season tended to be a bit clunky, but this setup removes that and improves its potential at the same time. This video guide will cover skills, aspects, gems, paragon, spirit boons and abilities. This build is capable of all content in the game including uber or tormented bosses while maintaining an enjoyable playstyle. Tornado is considered by some as the best endgame build due to its ability to clear content and have an engaging playstyle.

This and similar versions can clear Tier 100 with proper gear. I have shown Tier 80 gameplay since it is more realistic of where most players will farm. The increased efficiency of farming a lower tier and many players still working on their characters are the largest two reasons why I feel this is more useful to show. The only things that change to climb higher is you need to deal with boss mechanics properly, group trash mobs well and have well rolled GA gear with good MW bonuses.

You have to be kidding. In the "Pushing / Damage" section of the linked build half the glyphs have not even enough points in their cluster to activate their secondary effect! Fang and Claw sits at 30/40 willpower, Earth and Sky sits at 35/40. I now wasted 5m gold and some time to respec my board.....

Glad you enjoyed it! The attack power will increase by a lot if you have maxed glyphs socketed and in general the paragon board affects it a lot. There is also a very similar version of this build that runs a more offensive paragon board that has a higher Attack Power but less survivability. It will also increase a bit if you use Ursine Strength and are healthy when you inspect the character. Ursine Strength is not used in this video, just sharing the info.

Great stuff. But did Tornado change and is not physical damage anymore? I think it is. You should run Outmatch instead of Keeper.

Elixir of Holy Bolts, which is one of the seasonal consumables. Adds big damage to most builds and is pretty much a staple to pushing.

Hey I wanted to ask, why the vulnerable gems in the weapon instead of the critical strike damage? Also, I presume you go a standard ring over the zenith because of the close damage temper, yes?

Vulnerable is more reliable to proc. It is possible that at very high critical strike chance rates that you may get more benefit from those gems instead and it's probably worth another look on my own character at this point. That is correct about the standard ring over Hunter's Zenith as well.

Noticed something on your paragon board, On your guide you have Outmatch glyph on the constricting tendrils page, but in the video you have keeper, which is the correct glyph?

I currently use and recommend Outmatch. When the video was made, I did in fact use Keeper but have since had better success with Outmatch.

If we have ring of starless skies should we use that instead of 12:34 the ring of stampede ?

I find them pretty comparable. However I ultimately went with Ring of the Stampede for the extra tempering effects.

I've been stacking a ton of Crit damage on this build because I rolled multiple greater affix crit damage rolls. Is that a mistake? My crit chance is around 66 percent.

I think it's fine. In fact, I feel it scales better at very endgame stages but haven't tested it in a technical manner myself yet.

im on pit 109 and can get there super fast but i cant kill the bosses if they dont spawn adds i can hold my bear skills for, using zenith wrong and getting stuck with cds is a run killer

That sounds infuriating, I"m sorry to hear that. Everyone is different but that is such a turn off for me when the trash and bosses aren't balanced. Of course, builds play a factor in this but there needs to be some middle ground imo.

Yes, you can use that if you can't get close or if you prefer to cast and move away.

I used it for a long time actually. It works well in place of Aspect of the Changelings Debt if you want to run one.

Getting my masterwork to 8. My over 12:14 poer an crit damage is over 600. But vulnerable damage like maybe 112 and were making making them vulnerability all the time wht you think.

Where is all the overpower damage coming from? Could you trade some of that for vulnerable damage?

I am following the maxroll build and man idk what I’m doing wrong but I’m running out of spirit and I above tempest roar

More crit for spirit regeneration (lust for carnage) and resource cost reduction really help that issue a lot. Spirit per second on boots is also very helpful. It's not a direct answer but I scroll through my stats in the video coming out today and you might be able to pause and compare your own as a reference. Of course, all builds scale to a degree, but this build really scales well and the difference between good and great gear is pretty massive.

Wild heart hunter isn’t really needed also and spirit per second in boots can really help
