Our trip to Minneapolis is wrapping up...we visit Karmel Mall where no one likes video cameras! also, Hodan runs into a former Toronto resident who has grown spiritually!!

She had such a great personality it is so evident throughout this whole video, even when some of the people were being rude she still kept it together and continued to be positive. I wish i had met her 😢 I pray that Allah Grants her the highest paradise and May Allah make it easy for her to answer the questions in the grave and open for her the windows where she can see and smell the paradise. If the woman leading this film only spoke English, despite this being in Minnesota, she would never have been able to find the hair salon ! She had enormous difficulty getting the directions as it was, having to resort to a Somalian language almost every time she needed direction. This is a place where the people truly don't seem to want to learn the language of their host country.

Waaaaaaaaw maashaa allaah. Lots have chaged. Carmel had no more than 5 to 7 small shops 11 years ago, sorry to say this but every one at the time of my visit, looked like reerbaadiye that has never been to a magaalo.!!!! Somali Canadians aa aad u ilbaxsanaayeen when i visited Toronto in 2008 wich made go back to Toronto three more times. Glad to see my somalian brothers and sisters creating this shopping centre for their community.
