at this point i rly want a cryptonloid (and maybe internet co. ltd u.u) anime dubbed by their voice providers ngl

I mean, people dress up as her for Cons. I know that probably doesn't count, but it's the best we have right now. I wore her costume for a Con a couple of times. Walked past someone carrying their new Miku plushie, and I think the parent they were with looked from the plushie to me, then back to the plushie.

Well, they are 'referenced'. They don't usually play a big role in the story and show up for a few episodes and not through it's entirety, so vocaloids 'are' technically anime girls (because of being featured in an anime) but there is still no anime about/with vocaloids (as a main part of the story) so Vocaloid isn't an anime.

I was just going to mention that! During the montage of the main characters getting clients, one of their clients is a pair of cosplayers dressed as Cure Black and Cure White who want good weather for a photo shoot or convention or something. A Miku cosplayer can be seen in the background of this. I didn't even notice that when I saw the movie in theaters, but then I noticed Crypton Future Media, who owns the rights to Vocaloid, was credited in the end credits, so I was like "Wait did Vocaloid appear in this?". And sure enough it did.

1:07 Aoki Lapis right? Good to see her! Also fun fact: the game is called Dance Evolution, there is an Xbox and an arcade version. I don't remember about the Xbox one but the arcade version have Vocaloid songs like Luka Luka Night Fever and Cyber Thunder Cider and the choreos are REALLY FUN 👏

I think they neglected the series "My Room is a Dungeon Rest Stop", when the first two volumes of the manga show that the Main character has an interest in an off-brand Miku (Ironically, though the name was different, the design was the same.).😅
