Good video Romario. Living up here in NC, it's tough to get a feel for things by just looking at a map and matching it up with the homebuilders' website, making it all make sense. After looking at Winter Garden/Horizon West, I had started looking at the Clermont and Minneola new developments, and your video has really helped reinforce my thought that this is a legit area and potentially undervalued by a lot of people (for now), especially with the turnpike right there. Much appreciated.

Thank you Casper! I think Minneola was certainly overshadowed by all the amazing things happening in Clermont and so it was sort of the place to go if Clermont was too expensive. It’s now taking on a name of its own which is incredibly cool to watch!

Great info! Thanks for sharing! What is the timeline for the town center and other amenities, attractions? Do they have any townhomes planned?

The actual definitive content of the town center are unknown, but it should have restaurants, a potential hotel, big box retailer among other tenants. 2024 is the general timeline for most of what I covered today i.e Crooked can, town center, Regional Park, School. Of course, subject to change so fingers crossed 🤞 Haven't seen anything in regards to townhomes, they had a townhome project nearby that's now sold out. Certainly options available close-by though in Clermont :)

I have mixed but mostly negative feelings about industrialization projects. I understand it could be a good thing, access to hospitals, housing, schools etc. But I have lived in Florida for years and it's been strange seeing so much torn down just to build more up. I'm not old and I remember the orange groves here. I know that sounds ridiculous 😅. But the construction projects are seriously never ending and the traffic is just awful and getting worse every year. (We have an ongoing joke that you're guaranteed to see Bob's barricades on the roads in Florida until Jesus comes back because the work will never be finished.) You move somewhere that you think will be peaceful for a while just to hear another construction project outside your back door. Meanwhile housing prices have skyrocketed in just a short time...Ok I'm rambling and I know no one agrees with me so I'll end it here and will probably delete this soon 😂 Anyone have thoughts on this or am I just "getting old" and need to keep up with the times ?? ❤

Haha, met a random guy talking about Clermont and he shared the same sentiment as you. Ultimately though, very few places on earth let alone Orlando will stay the same forever. Hopefully videos like these help people make a decision for the future and not the now, you’ve experienced first hand what that’s like. Orlando’s goal isn’t to be a rural city anymore, although I’m not sure if that was ever the goal either but so many people seemed to have think so. In the small 6 years I’ve been here, so much has changed and I do miss certain this but I’m super excited for what’s to come too :)

Lived here for decades and it has been this way always. Sad part is no one has learned anything from the past. Endless sprawl just like LA. Miami , Dallas Phoenix. Bytheway Tampa Bay next door is the same . Paved over also. Iam surprised Orlando and Tampa Bay hasn't bumped into each other yet. One day the two Metro will simply merge with each other. I do like Orlando trend of trying to build downtowns. That's the solution. We need more parts of Florida like Tampa,Sarasota, Bradenton, Jacksonville, to build new downtowns into the new designs.
