Minnie died just a few weeks before Maya turned 7 and left her younger son as well. Such a beautiful woman, mother and singer left this life way too soon. R.I.P, beautiful soul.

It's so unfair that Minnie's life was cut short at age 31. Aside of the great talent and beautiful voice....Minnie was also a beautiful human being that meant so much to her family and many others. RIP Minnie!

I cry every time I see this episode because my mother battled cancer and thank God my mother survived! I guess it is just a sensitive subject and how Minnie reminds me of my mom and how I would pray every night that she survives because I want my children to able to know her and not just hear stories about her like I did wit my grandmother (my Mom's Mom)

Every time I hear it, it takes me back to April 75 when the Sun was unusually hot here in the UK and we have just had a mini heatwave last week and the song came on turning Spring time into Summer. Most of my mates don't like that song they say it's depressing, I disagree it's a magical song and they have no taste in music. The only thing that is sad is that Minnie left us 4 years later, I play her song a lot

Wow! little La La! That's what I think of when I hear Loving you and hear Minnie say that's her daughter in background she wants to sing. Maya is a wonderful actress. I would have never associated the two as being related. It is always amusing to think aw whom ever is related.

Makes me think of my family. My grandma and grandpa died and my sister was too young to remember them. The only thing she remembers is her grandmothers funeral and that's heartbreaking to my parents. But, you have to tell them about how they were when they were alive. It's the right thing to do.

Alright look. It's July 2023 and I should already know this. I'm 57 and listened to Loving You by Minnie more times than I can count. But you know what, seeing Maya in her comedic skits always made me feel like she was connected to someone. Already loved Maya but I love her even more now. Your mom would be so proud.
