I bought the original 110 Zoom SLR around 2005 or so, and I figured that I should look at the Mark II model, as well. I have a couple of other 110 cameras that I'll review at some point, and they both have some funny stories attached to them. I shot with both, but I wasn't able to get the film processed. At some point, I'll do that and report back on the results. The original 110 Zoom SLR was working intermittently, and I had to tear it down and give it a thorough cleaning to get it working again. The Mark II was working when I received it.

Please don't forget to decock the shutter of the Minolta 110 and set the safety before storage. This saves the spring of the shutter mechanism. Super analogue camera I often used for very good macro images. The Mark 2 model I does not know before, interesting. Thank You for sharing. 📷

110 is single-perforated, paper-backed, 16mm film , providing 13x17mm exposures. It was available in 12, 20 or 24 exposure lengths.

IMO, if you are going to shoot 110 film format photos, you might as well use cameras which will give you the best quality imaging. To that end, I'd recommend the following: Canon 110ED Minox 110 (which I've owned and used) Pentax 110 SLR Minolta SLR 110 Mk II There may be others of similar quality which I've overlooked, but these are solid choices. The current problem with 110 format shooting is the film, or lack of quality choices. Darkroom enlarging of 110 is a challenge requiring the best equipment and the highest resolution, finest grain film. 110 is a subminature format, so EI 400 speed films are basically a waste of effort and money. I'm not sure what method would be most effective to digitally convert 110 film images. I think that any traditional film scanner will not handle that size of film. A flatbed probably would lack the focus required. Photo-copying with a macro lens and digital camera is probably the best compromise, but most people will not have the optics to do a full frame (camera) copy.
