00:00 - You don't have to lose the fight in Momma's Boy
00:28 - lose the fight
01:00 - win the fight
01:34 - call if you win the fight
02:11 - 2 calls if you lose the fight
03:02 - skip a cutscene in Bull in a China Shop
03:13 - first cutscene at the store (can be skipped)
03:40 - second cutscene if you didn't skip the first
04:13 - cutscene if you brake the window without speaking to the shopkeeper first
05:00 - dress as a doctor and turn off life support in Flatline
05:16 - not dressing as a doctor

Fun fact in the mission Flatline: if you don’t have the Doctor clothes the police will tell you get away but if you return in Doctor clothes you will get a 2 star wanted level with a cop saying “Hey I remember you, if you’re a doctor than I’m the pope” the devs are clever with their stuff

@@lufetm Which is why people should be patient witch GTA 6 for Christ’s sake. It’s going to be the greatest game ever made. LET THEM TAKE THEIR TIME! But people don’t understand that. Remember in RDR2 where if you stare at a bear, it won’t attack you as long as you hold your composure because it’s aware you will kill it if it attacks you first so it doesn’t. Little details like that matter and I’m willing to wait for GTA 6

At 5:00 in that mission, if you approach the room and the police tells you to back off and than put on the doctors outfit they will remember you and start instantly shooting at you. A cool thing i discovered recently by accident.

In "Shadow" you can also avoid being detected during the phone call with Roman if you turned off the ring tone or put the phone on vibration. That way, you can still be close to the dealer and not get spotted. Also, I believe not answering Roman at all can also prevent it.

If you don't get the doctor outfit at first and they see you, they will recognize you with the doctor outfit on and you'll get wanted

I have a special hatred on that Momma’s boy mission on the TBOGT . No matter what choice you make, Luis’ mother will still make you feel miserable

Huh. I always thought the doctor scrubs path was implied to be the only way to go for that mission. Guess I played too much GTA V and got too used to failing for deviating just a millimeter off of the main objective.

I was also sure dressing as a doctor was the way to go... later learned many didn't notice it, and even less used the option to turn off life support

Its funny you said this because for years I would always defend gta4 for its very open and dynamic ways of approaching missions people say the missions are repetitive but they honestly lack the creative ability to approach missions In a different manner then what R* prompts you to do on screen. I'm happy this comment was made because people would always try to argue with me saying that GTA4s mission design is to linear when it's really GTA5 with the linear missions design and a very small mission area that if you deviate to far you fail the mission versus gta4 you could use the actual sand box anyway you wanted to

Yeah like GTA 4's options for some missions are better than GTA 5's options. Like sure, guns blazing is always an option but in GTA 4 (I realized this only after watching a speedrun) some of the options are safer and more convenient. Also the whole "mission rating" thing they introduced in TBoGT and put in V really put a lot of linearity in the game so

@@whatever57010 One thing I've never seen covered in the doctor scenarios is what happens if you run out of the room. I assume you will get a wanted level sooner than if you walk? In the all possibilities videos, there were so many missions, this one included, I wish you had done an "If you kill him with an RPG" possibility.

in photo shoot, you can snipe marlon from one of the rooftops to the north of the basketball court after playboy points him out. it's the enterable apartment next to the demolished building. it gives you a sightline right between the two trees, allowing you to kill marlon clean and from afar.

6:30 didn't know about the turning off the life support thing, very cool, but I found that if you sit there and listen to all of Anthony's dialogue he has a heart attack and dies on his own (only way I figured out this mission) and its very funny because he dies wholesomely thinking Niko was just there to visit him. Still a wanted level lol but its much easier than other scenarios

Did you try running away after Anthony saw you and start speaking his dialog since he has a heart attack and dies on his own? Maybe after you left in hospital he began to die (cause of heart attack) and police officer never arrest you again because you are not there anymore. 😅 Ima try this one since I'm starting again to play this game. 😅

Bull in a China Shop was originally going to be even more detailed. Niko was supposed to go inside the store and smash up the merchandise with the bat Vlad gave him in the opening cutscene. Niko would also be able to rough up the owner and/or his son, which would result in Vlad sending Niko back to the store to give the owner a bottle of vodka as an apology.

Kind of unrelated. But Pavel in gtao kinda hints vlad is his uncle. And at some point he says "my uncle would always says Pavel. Let cousins be cousins. Well. Look where it gets you huh" hinting niko killed vlad for his cousin Roman. So unrelated but related at the same time

In the gtav files, you can find placeholders for the mission voicelines, they use a text to speech type robot voice, i assume they are used during development before the voice lines are actually recorded

Something so annoying about V is how you can’t do anything in missions with the cops on you. It’s makes it way more fun to do missions in IV when you can just drive on the sidewalk and kill everyone on the way to the marker and when you get there it’s like nothing happened. But in GTAV every single mission will change the objective to “Lose the cops” in between mission markers.

Jesus I miss the freedom Rockstar gave you with the missions, GTA V and RDR2 are amazing but they could use less scripted missions, hope they realise this and give you realm to do whatever you want in GTA 6, The Cayo Perico Heist in GTA Online is proof that they could design more varied missions

There is one thing I don't think many knows: in the mission Holland Nights, when you come to the buildings that Clarence is, behind you there will be a tower crane; if you go there and climb it up, using a sniper you can get a clear view of Clarence there and when you shot him the mission will end instantly, its the best way to conclude this mission

In the Shadow mission, if you prefer to follow the seller at very close distance while following the seller silently. When Roman calls Niko, the seller who hears the ringing will realize that someone is after him and will start to run away and Niko will curse him because the seller escaped because of Roman.

Its just that i personally missed this style of videos where you presented in game options rather than just focusing on behind the scenes stuff.(but those are also interesting) R* arent exactly known for allowing choices so when they do let you experiment i think it deserves to be highlighted. But either way i and all of us appreciate the effort you put into your all content. Thanks for being a good example of a "proper" GTA youtuber and being a honest person.

seeing these videos of GTA iv gives me the motivation to play again, the times I played the game I was a kid and didn't know almost anything about English, basically, I only follow the red dot or the yellow one xD now as a man with 20yo I want to play it again and finished once and for all but without a ps3 anymore or a good PC I can't play anymore...

I learned about that window skip on accident by going full speed at the yellow dot but it didnt stop me in time so i just crashed into the window lol

This is why Rockstar needs to make it clear when there's more than one choice in the missions that have them. The prompts were super obvious ways to know, but didn't allow players to be thoughtful with their actions. I suggest that Rockstar makes linear missions appear in yellow as they've always have, and missions that have more than one choice should appear in blue.

For so long I have always stood up for GTA4 and its missions design to often people follow the crowd and say that gta4 missions design was boring and repetitive when in actuality gta4 is pretty open when it's comes to how you complete a mission I swear since I was young I would purpolsey look for different ways to complete the missions and more times then not the game would let you progress through a mission and despite you not being in the necessary area to prompt the next portion of a mission this is exactly why I love gta4 so much the mission where you have to kill the Russian son for Faustin can be done by getting on a good vantage Point and sniping him and you can skip the whole Chase scene by doing this

I agree, and even saw a video about how R* is doing more scripted/linear gameplay in GTA V and RDR2 compared to previous titles

Are they? Most missions in IV can be described as "go to the place, kill everyone, mission passed". While V, SA, VC and III always add something significant to that formula or just have a completely different design

@@chuck600 5 is fun. but it's missions are "Do this for 10 minutes and always had only 1 way to do them while 4 had "Dress as a doc or go in guns blazing!"

@@chuck600 The missions of GTA5 are long and linear, there's no freedom of choices you can make for most of the time. Whereas GTA4 missions, the game doesn't telling you that you can have many multiple ways to complete the missions despite being short, you actually have to think what kinds of way you'd prefer to accomplish your missions. GTA4 has that mystery feeling in terms of progression, but in GTA5, it's just a long and strict linearity of missions filled with bunch of very long cutscenes.
