50$ seems extremely reasonable for what Minori put inside, I'd chose the ones Minori made over a 50$ convention mystery box any time.

$50 for this is extremely cheap when you take into consideration that the individual drawings are easily worth $80+, a custom tote bag, a custom printed towel, the screening paper things, and the random other item. the time and effort, as well as the money and materials spent. i think there were only 6 mystery boxes, which would be $300 made but I doubt there was much profit (cause of all the money she spent on materials and such) so I think her boxes were an absolute steal. I've struggled with money my entire life and was homeless at some point so I def wouldn't be able to afford this and by my personal standards, way too much money when I have other things to worry about, but I can sort of understand $50 or even more from an artist's perspective. But yeah, I fully agree with you (rereading my comment, it sounds like I'm trying to counteract what you're saying, I swear I'm not lol I agree with you) and how mass produced boxes would maybe be cheaper but her's are handmade, hand-packaged stuff with lots of care so the price makes sense, maybe even less then it should have sold for. I love her humbleness and making things cheaper for her many fans tho, she's super cool.

It also says a lot about her appeal and diversity of appeal the fact that she's able to get viewers that are not into kawaii stuff, as myself, because I'm here for the manga creativity and such :-) I'm actually an aspiring mangaka, and I get inspired by so much of her art!
