Matara is that friend that every introvert needs every now and then. She's also been nudging Mint and "Kamii" to reach out to one another without having her be the one pulling them together. I'm so glad that Mata joined VShojo. Her long and heartfelt tweet today was such a testament to how much she's enjoying herself. Due to Mata's personality I think it's easy for many to forget just how big of a number "Hollywood" did on her. She deserves feeling as content as she does (see the tweet) about where she is, what she does and the people that she gets to work with now.

It seems to me that a looooot of vtubers are extremely introverted and would love to make friends with other streamers but get too anxious. I hope someone out there comes up with a way for people to network that makes it easier for them. Not because I think people don’t collab enough, but because it’s obvious that people like Mint want to make friends but may end up self-sabotaging.

I think Mint is still a bit insecure. Being with The Company for 3 years damaged her psyche and she needs time to settle into VTubing again. However, with Matara's support, she should eventually be able to break free from her shackles and learn to have fun again.
