Күн бұрынCanning Mint Jelly is an excellent way to preserve your mint. It is great on toast with a cup of hot tea. Or, it is good to put on lamb before roasting it. This is a simple recipe and is a great condiment to add to your shelf.

Thanks! Loved the history of your mint plants. I'll be making with store bought mint today, but will hopefully be using my own home grown mint eventually. QUESTION: I planned on using 2 tbsp of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Why did you say not to? Thanks!

Thank you so much!! To answer your question, if you use bottled lemon juice you are ensuring whatever you preserve has the correct acidity level. Fresh lemons depending on variety can vary on their pH levels. I hope that helps and that you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!!
