Оксана и Евгений волшебны. Мы не можем оторвать глаз от них. Их движения и эмоции связывают нас, как никакую другую пару. Их страсть к разнообразию музыки, танца и рассказывания историй подняли этот вид искусства на новый уровень. Оксана - наша муза, увлекающая нас. Она представляет собой законченный пакет, умная, спортивная, бесстрашная, милая, милая, сексуальная, сердечная.

Талант Грищук и Платова за гранью возможного. Всё их выступления Шедевр! Тот кто ставил их программы тоже Гении! Увидев их раз, забыть невозможно....

I loved the Olympic performance more but I wanted to hear the commentary of this guy who I like though he apparently wasn’t as excited about it as me .

Паша Грищук на самом деле Оксана Грищук. Сменила имя из за украинки Оксаны Баюл, которая стала олимпийской чемпионкой и осталась в США. Но в Америке эта Оксана стала пить и нарушать правила на дорогах, сделала много ДТП. Оксану Грищук стали путать с Оксаной Баюл, поэтому она взяла имя бабушки Паша и стала Паша Грищук

They were definitely not at their best at these championships with some errors towards the end of the program. They were maybe a little lucky to have won the gold here. But if they were going to lose to anyone, it would not have been to Krylova & Ovsiannikov. It would rather have been to Anissina & Peizerat. From 1996 to 1998, the couple that came the closest to them IMO was Anissina & Peizerat even if the judges had A&P way way down in the rankings.

They certainly brought the drama! Their marks were incredible, even from the British judge. It really did feel as though they had borrowed from Bolero, the driving one theme music, even the colour of their costumes. Their edges were not as clean as they could have been and certainly they didn't look as sure footed as they usually were. For me, they have one amazing outstanding routine which is their Original Dance Libertango from 1996/97 season. There used to be a couple of postings of that. *That* was phenomenal.

Memorial is an epic funeral march-like piece, composed by Michael Nyman around 1984-1985. [...] Nyman explicitly dedicated Memorial to the memory of the Juventus F.C. fans killed in the Heysel Stadium tragedy, in May 1985. [...] The composition borrowed a musical phrase from Baroque composer Henry Purcell's King Arthur, the prelude to ‘What Power Art Thou’, sung by the Cold Genius in Act III*, but the phrase is repeated in countless times, in a minimalist fashion. The composition is dominated for the first two-thirds by the string and horn sections, backed up by bass guitar, and a drummer. Soprano Sarah Leonard comes in only in the last third of section, and her performance mainly consists of long wordless complaints, adding a dramatic effect to the composition. Her song is continuously an octave higher than the rest of the orchestra, thus creating a haunting effect that suggests pain and sorrow. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memoria...)
