Miracle at the Gas Station, Angel Intervention

Steward encounters an angel at the gas station when he is in need of money to pay the attendant. True story of great impact in his life. He wanted to share this event with you. Steward died on 5/25/2010. He now knows all about angels and what really happened in this story. He now knows who he is, where he came from, why he was here, and why the universe exists. He is now one with all.

I was delivering prescription drugs to nursing homes during a snowstorm when I suddenly hit something in the road that blew my tire out. I was able to exit and pull into a Walmart parking lot, where I tried to change the flat. The jack kept slipping on the ice and snow so I couldn’t get the car lifted. Eventually after about 45 minutes of trying, my hands became numb and I was beginning to get very cold ( it was about mid nite and 22 degrees and still snowing.) No one was around because everything had closed up due to the storm. Suddenly a tall, very well built man with deep blue eyes walked up behind me and offered to change the tire. He had it changed in 5 minutes . Then he smiled and walked off. I tossed the jack into the trunk and turned to yell thanks, but he had vanished...

Daniel Sadjadian Yes Daniel. It is true. I cannot say who it was, but it most definitely occurred this way. I believe it to have been Angelic visit.

Years ago, my, then husband, and I were driving at the edge of the desert in Las Vegas. We had our newborn baby in a car seat in the back when we suddenly had car trouble. Our new car stalled for no apparent reason in triple digit temperature. The inside began to heat up quickly. There was nothing in the area except an old abandoned gas station. We didn't have cel phones then. We had no water. We saw no traffic to ask for help. We began to panic and pray. Suddenly, a rickity car came from behind the old gas station and a young woman, a teenage girl really, rolled down her window and asked if we needed help. We said yes, expecting her to drive away and come back with a tow truck. Instead, she got out and asked us to help push the car out of the road. She asked if we had jumper cables. We did not. Suddenly a dusty old pickup truck drove by and she flagged it down. Immediately, the driver got out and jumped our car with hers and drove away without a word, leaving the dirty well used cables. We thanked her and offered her money, assuming it must have been a friend or relative of hers that left the cables. She refused the money and drove away towards the abandoned station. Then we realized we still had the cables, so we followed her behind the station to return them. She was not there. No one was there! Even the car was not there!!! The garage had old tires piled in front of it! She could not have put the car in the garage. Where was she??? There was nothing else for miles!!!

Something similar happened to me...I went to the store , to get food for my children, I only had a few dollars to my name as it was a hard time for us at the time...I got what they needed. We went back out to go home ,my battery died. I was in tears because of everything on top of what was happening in my children's life. A man walked up and he jumped started my van which took while. He stayed tho till it did start. I thanked him because it was very kind. Then he proceeded to give me 80$ to go right to car place and replace the battery . He said if it didn't get replaced now it wouldn't start again till it was. I don't know how the man knew I was at the last dollars for the food I got the children. I asked him how I get ahold of him because I will repay him..he refused. He said it was his pleasure and he knew I needed the help. I was in shock. I never saw this man again.never saw him before. It was one of my life's greatest moments. A couple months later , I went to the same store where a young man seemed to not be able to get everything he needed. So I paid for it, as things got better for me. It felt so damn good to help someone else for a change. Because of that man , I try to pay it forward randomly now to spred love ananomously. It's one of the best feelings. And that man was an 👼. I'll never forget him. And I'll do my best now to be like him. Just a smile can change a life. Like a ripple in an ocean I learned that day. In a rural area of NC, during a horrendous thunder storm my car hydroplaned; I hit a guardrail; the car flipped twice in the air, went down an embankment and landed in a creek on it's side. Somehow, I managed to get out but had to fight the current to get to the steep bank. I'd climb and slide back into the creek, climb and slide back. I made it to a level space and passed out. I don't know how much time passed, but a man found me and his cell phone battery was dead. He told me another man standing behind him said, "The ambulance is on their way." When he turned around there was no one there . . . but he could hear the siren of the ambulance racing closer.

My husband and I was going through an extremely difficult time. Financially and Spiritually. On the way to work. We ran out of gas on the Interstate with not a penny to our name the day before my first paycheck on a new job. I got out of the car to stand and pray about the situation. My prayer was not even over when a man pulled up behind us in a pickup. He went to the back of his truck and lifted a 5 gallon gas can out and looked me in the eyes and said: Here is the gas you prayed for.. Hubby had the hood open. How'd he know it was gas, How'd he know I was praying? I said Thank you and he said Thank God not me.. God makes a way to where there seems no way. I have many testimony's to that fact...💖 Loved your testimony and blessed that it reminded me of mine..

I had a situation that happened to me back in the 80's I'll never forget it. I was driving home from college in the wee hours of the night, I was very sleepy kind of nodding off slightly, fighting sleep, then all of a sudden on the dark highway I was driving on there was an accident in the fast lane, two cars, no lights on or anything, I was going about 75-80 mph, when I realized what had happened I panicked because I was too close to the accident to do anything but just prepare myself for the impact. I closed my eyes embracing myself for the impact, then I felt a force take the wheel and turn it out of harms way. I know I didn't do it because I had already panicked , going at a pretty high speed. When I opened my eyes the accident was in back of me. I was in shock and amazed that a higher power had reached down and saved me from any harm. Needless to say I was alert the rest of the drive home. You gotta live your praise everyday. I'm very thankful.

I met my Guardian Angel twice as a teenager. One night waiting on a ride to a party on WKYU campus, someone I didn't know walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder and called me by name saying "that party you wanted to go to tonight, might not want to, I heard it's going to get busted". Decided not to go, glad I didn't cuz it was busted and a few people got hurt trying to run outta the house where the party was. Second time was 75 miles away, I could barely walk I was so drunk. Same person called me by name and said "let's get you back to your hotel room k? I'll make sure you get across the road without gettin hit" Haven't seen him since then, but those two times were enough to make me realize that there is someone else looking out for me.

I had to call the telephone company about some bill where I had been way overcharged, and while talking to this person and getting nowhere, suddenly there was another voice on the line, and the other person asked who it was and the answer was something about how they don't do this kind of work very often, but they do indeed do some work for the phone company from time to time, or whatever. I was told to keep quiet, and he handled the whole thing. I had the charges taken off my bill. To this day, I believe it was an angel.

I was 21 years old just had my 1st child and was hoping to get into an income based apartment with my boyfriend so we can move out of his father's house. So one sunday me and my baby go to church and we sit through the service and at the end of it an older man that ive never seen there before approaches me. He simply Says I wanna give you something and hands me an envelope. I thank him and he walks away. Me and my baby say bye to a couple of the other people there that we know and then we go out to the car to leave. I buckle baby up in her seat and get inside the car and remember the envelope in my back pocket. So I pull the envelope out and I'm thinking to myself this is so crazy that somebody would just give me something and I open it up and it's $250 in $20 bills. I was lacking $254 for our security deposit to be able to move to the apartment that we really wanted. I cried, i was shocked, happy, blown away. I've never seen that guy since that day And I tried explaining his appearance to a couple members of the church and nobody was able to identify who it would have been.. It's clear now that was a guardian angel.

It was! I wanted to buy a costumr for school for my son and with the cash and a few dollars i had was just enough. I knew it was God, my son was so happy he had a costume for school.

Yes Angejs or Messengers of God do walk among us, I hope this helps someone. 1992 in February I lost my job as an professional athlete. When I returned home to Michigan I have not felt pain such as this except when my father died. I wanted to end my life so I walked out in the cold for miles and hour trying to gather the strength and courage to follow through with what I was thinking. Once I decided on the method I was going to use I headed home to do it. When I was about 3/4 of a mile from my house a man appeared in front of me. No idea where he came from as I was looking up and down every other step or so and on one was out due to being so cold and the ground full of snow and ice. The man looked like a typical homeless person and he asked me if I had any change because he was hungry and wanted something to eat. I did not have my wallet on me just about 1.50 in coins in my pocket. As I put the money in his hand he grabbed my hand and said thank you. But this is what got me chilled when he then said "I was sent here to tell you everything is going to be alright and he called me by my name and said Robert everything will be alright". I took 2 steps and turned aroud and he waa gone. I ran down the street to the corner which was about 90 yards away and no one was found he could not across the street for heavy traffic was going across all 5 Lanes of the road we were in a very deserted area no stores, no places of business open no place he could have gone and I was in peak conditioning. When you're at your lowest point God will send you a message and tell you to keep going and be strong and hold on. I don't share this often I'm in tears writing this somehow God told me somebody needs to hear this in somebody's going to read it.

I was in the ocean one day when a rip tide caught me. None of my friends would enter the water, as I was being drowned. As I went down for the last time, I cried out to Jesus for help, saying it was not my time. Suddenly, I felt someone's arms go around my chest and lift me to the surface, while the currents of the rip tide were changed fast under water. Then I felt a hand on my back pushing me into the changed currents, so I could finish getting back to shore. Don't tell me there are no angels.

TheAstroboy9 Channel HI!Your story is very similar to mine..I also was swept out of the new Jersey shore, but no one saw me drowning..I stopped struggling and felt total peace come over me, but then I felt gentle arms around me and carry me from the sea. The next thing I remember..I was on the beach very near the shore...just choking and spitting up water. Not a soul around..it was amazing!.. btw..before that all happened, I had a major bad head cold..it was completely gone after that..I also believe in God's ANGEL'S 😊God bless.

I had the same thing happen years ago and when I turned around to thank the boy “ about 12 years old” he wasn’t there and we could not find him. That was my first encounter, I have had several though out my 72 years. Praise God !!!

I had a very similar experience. Also at a gas station and when I had $15.00 to my name and my car packed with all my belongings. A man saw that I only put $10.00 in my tank. He waved to me to get out of my car and he popped his card in and told me to fill the rest of my tank. I was great ful but awkward feeling to say the least. I finished filling tank an said thank you and how much I appreciated him doing this for me. He then hands me a crisp $100.00 bill. I said NO I can't except that he had already done enough. He then said to me: You can either be respectful and take this out of my hand or I will wad it up and throw it into your car and i much rather you take it from my hand. Not wanting to be considered disrespectful to someone showing such selflessness, I excepted the money and asked his name... He laughed and said my name? It's Mask🤔 I believe he was an angel sent.

I have had several encounters with angels in my 78 years of living. I am truly grateful they are encamped about us and we can entertain them unaware. I encourage others to tell their testimony. May God bless you all..

Wow! I had the same exact experience but coming from New York to Philly. I was working for a Mazda dealership as a car transporter. We traded vehicles with other dealerships, and I never check the gas in the car I use to get back to Philly. It was late at night, and I was traveling towards Philly when the gas light came on. I had used the of my money to get something to eat never checking the gas. The car was running on fumes, so I pulled off on the side of the road trying to figure out how am I going to contact someone because my cell phone went dead. Then out the clear blue this young caucasian male came up to the car and said "Sir, can you take me home? I live a few miles from here." I told him that my car is running on fumes and I have no money to put fuel in the car. The young Caucasian male said, "come on, I'll refill your tank and to trust him the car will make it to my home." I had nothing more to lose, I had no gas, and I had no way to contact anyone. So I took that chance and took the young male home. The car made it, and he filled my tank, then I dropped him off at his house. As the young man walked away, he faded into the darkness. I'm stomped and afraid at the same time. I sat there for another five minutes wondering where this guy went to. I drove off and thank God for sending me help that night. This made my day on so many levels. Thanks for sharing.

one day I was in this town & I need to get some money out from my bank account in those days there were no credit cards in Australia so I went into this towns bank & only bank which just happen to be a branch off my bank the CBA I withdrawal some money & just as I was leaving I heard the branch manager telling this female customer that she was just down to her last 50$ she had to leave at least 2$ to keep her account open, she was crying her newborn baby was crying as she needed the entire 50$. the branch manager was adamant that he will close her account, so I open my wallet pulled out 200$ & gave it to her the branch manager was having a go at me for helping her. soI said to him it is about time you learned to be charitable at that I just left the bank got back to my car drove to the only servo to fillup went in the office to pay 29$ for petrol when I open my wallet the 200$ was back in my wallet,I get 200$ in 4 50$ bills but inmy wallet I had 10 x 20$ bills

Beautiful. Amazing. That is how God helps us. I was visiting in a large city. The hotel took me to a train stop to catch a train downtown. It got dark very quick. The train might have been late. I was the only person standing there in the dark. I was scared. Suddenly a little girl wearing a little red coat came and sat down beside me. I was so relieved because it was a high traffic area.I tried to make conversation with her but all she would do was smile. When the train finally arrived the little girl disappeared and I did not see her on the train.

Deborah Haley As you can see the number of lives effected surpassed another human being. His story has brought out many similar ones. This is the message of love, the greatest of the fruit of God’s presence in our lives. There is nothing negative in bearing one another’s burdens. This is just one aspect of giving blessings. I once gave a chap £5 for fuel at a gas station as he had left his wallet at home. I was mocked by my husband saying I was stupid and had been duped as the gentleman in question said he'd drop the money in the next day. I wasnt bothered about the money, I just wanted to help him get home on a cold winter's night! He did actually return the money and left it at the gas station as he said he would. What's wrong with showing acts of kindness?

I got lost once in an area I had never been before and drove around for hours and the battery on my phone died so I could not use the GPS to find my directions, I started panicking, worried and I cried out to God to send an Angle to help me find my way and indeed after driving blindly I heard the GPS on my dead phone with 0% of battery start giving me directions. On very many occasions in my life I have seen God in action and His praises will always be on my lips as long as I have breath in me.

I had a experience. I worked at night an hour away from my home. I just pulled into my home town gas station to get gas and check the air in the tires. I was checking the air with air gage, as a voice came out of no where. I looked behind me , and i seen an older man dressed in over alls with white tee shirt underneath , rough skinned, thin body, sucking on a cigarette, and squating down. I said, "How are you." As i looked back at the tire to check the air. He replied in firm , gentle voice, " Check them tires." I replied in a positive , tired voice , " Ok." I went on to tell him, " i just got back into town from working... I looked back over my shoulders, and no man. In seconds, he disappeared as i turned my head to talk. No human can get up , walk from setting in squat pose, with out making a grindle sounds with shoes from the gravel. I did not see a man walking away from me in the far distant either. It took seconds, only seconds. I just had an odd feeling that whole day. This man did not look anything in the face like my relatives, but dressed like my great uncle and grandpa. I can sense negative or positive energies from humans, but this man. No energy of neither one. RIP Man in the video. 🙏

I've had two encounters also that I know were God sent. Both in times that I was dealing with extreme emotional pain. Complete strangers comforting me, one asked me if he could pray with at a gas station, he knew exactly what I was dealing with. The other a similar situation at a restaurant. And as I was turning to walk away he said to me "be careful of who those that are surrounded around you" I knew exactly what he was talking about because I was struggling with a decision about attending an upcoming event. I didn't go.

Steward, I was passively listening to your video when I hear you mention your angel's smile. I too had an encounter but I needed help turning my semi-truck around on tight Chicago streets in rush hour. The angel's smile wasn't of this world. His smile emitted love and grace. And like you, when I went to thank him, he was gone. Vanished into thin air. "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2

Loved your story! I think we miss most of the angelic visitations in our life, and if we are lucky enough to notice it is generally after the fact. I had a similar experience at the 11,000 ft. level of Mt. Rainier descending from a climb. I was dressed for cool weather but we wound up having a bright sunny day, and I hadn't brought enough water. I was getting extremely exhausted from being over heated and under hydrated. A guy walked up to me with two full water bottles and asked me if I was thirsty. Yes!!! He told me he saw me all the way from Camp Muir swerving and tripping so he walked up to give me his water. I asked him if he was preparing to summit tomorrow and he said no, he was just training to serve the saints in the last days. I thought his mission was totally bizarre, and whatever church he belonged to was waaaay too preoccupied with Bible prophecy! Anyway, I drank one pint of water on the spot and then refilled my bottles. We parted and you'd think we would have walked together back to camp but he went his way and I went mine. Never saw him again-not on the snow field or in the camp. He said he was melting snow to make water, so he must have had some gear around to do that. I probably never thought about it for a year, and I was a tad bit offended by his strange theology-what's the likelihood of saving saints on glaciers 11,000 high?! The answer to that question is that he saved me, and that made me start to question how he saw me from a half mile away and got up to me in time. And why did he leave me so quickly? There was only one direction back to Camp Muir, and he didn't take it. I've mused about this many times since, and I conclude the actions of this stranger were so strange and singular that had to be an angelic minister sent to help me.

What the angel was talking about, good solid teachings on mature sons and daughters of God you get from pastor Neville Johnson and others, like Bruce Allen.😁 I am so so happy, whenever I hear about this mission from different sources. I've had a similar incident. My 3yr old son and i were staying in a weekly hotel when I first moved to Vegas. I was looking for work and had no more money, so I contacted family and friends in an effort to round up cash to pay for another week's stay. I knew my room would be locked and I wasn't sure if i could get the money. My son and I stepped out of the room and a gentlemen who was a maintainence worker was fixing a light bulb. I asked if he could please give me a minute to get the money and not lock me out. He smiled and said oh don't worry you were on my list for lockout but you'll be fine. After another miracle, I got the cash. I went back to the front desk at the hotel and asked where the mauntainence guy was so I could thank him. the hotel clerks told me there was no mauntainence man there by the description i gave and the maintainence man didn't come in until an hour after I left. I know that guy was an angel. Praise God!

I've been a single parent most of my life. My "angel" story happened one night during a time I had to take an overnight job to provide for my children. I was driving to work around 10pm and my nightly route took me through a very seedy urban part of town. Every evening as I traveled through those dark, lonely streets I would pray for God's protection until I got to work. However, one night, just as I got off the highway to enter that section of town, one of my tires blew. Shaken, I spotted an all night McDonald's that was open. Pulling my car into the parking lot, I got out to inspect the tire and immediately knew I was in trouble because I only had a temporary donut spare and half a jack (it was an older model car with a 2-piece jack in which you insert the handle into the base and then crank the handle to jack the car up. When I had bought the car, the jack was missing that rod handle.) Cautiously scanning the deserted parking lot I knew I was screwed. I was afraid to move away from the car, because I was a young woman alone. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an older White gentleman emerged from the darkness and came up to my car. I was more intrigued by his sudden appearance than I was scared, because like I said, I was in an seedy urban part of town and an older White man would be the last person I thought to see there. When he reached me, he asked if he could help fix the tire. I said sure; I went on to tell him I didn't have a complete jack, only the base. He then smiled a wonderful, gentle smile and said, "What a coincidence, I just happened to have a rod." He then proceeded to show it to me, already in his hand! Working quickly for a man his age, he replaced the flat with the donut spare. He then straightened, looked me straight in the eye and said with a very grave voice, "I suggest you not go to work tonight. This tire should be enough to get you back home." It was as if he was warning me not to continue the path I was on. Nodding, I turned to get in my car, when I suddenly remembered I forgot to thank him. I immediately turned back around and he was gone. Vanished! Now really shaken because I believed I had just encountered the supernatural, I took his advice and drove back home. I quit that job the very next day. I believe my angel was warning me of impending danger further down the road to that job, some unforeseen danger that only he could see. My story is so amazing because an elderly White man was so outta place in that area, especially after 10 o'clock at night. Even as a Black woman, I shouldn't have been there. And then for him to just so happen to have the rod that was missing from my jack was a miracle. A stone-cold miracle. Thank You Jesus!

I’ve had a few encounters that are unexplainable in the natural...but we serve a SUPERNATURAL God!!! Praise JESUS!!! I’ve also had employment that when I put the stories of how I got the jobs...NOTHING BUT ALMIGHTY GOD!!! Oh how I LOVE Him ❤️❤️❤️

One hot sunny day, my husband and I were driving and we saw a man walking with a slight limp. My husband stopped and asked him where he's heading, but we couldn't understand him much, but I know he is polish because I have polish friends. I called my polish friend, and have her talk to the man so we will know where to take him. So, we took him to his destination and gave him some cash, I think it was 5 or 10, we didn't have much because I just started on my new job, and my husband was not working. After a few days, towards my birthday, the trustee of my elderly client just gave me $500.00, after just knowing her for about 2 months. My testimony is, God provides and he knows when to give and he'll put people in our lives that makes life easier. Thank You Lord Jesus!

Yes sir. Angels don't stay around to be thanked because they are delivery agents for God. God gets the thanks. Angels do not accept thanks. You are supposed to give God the glory when you have an angelic encounter which I have had.

Thank you for sharing. I have literally seen things happen when I called on the name of Jesus. Not one time but many times. I have even heard the voice of God when I was going through a very trying time. I specifically said, crying the deepest cry, God do you love me? My head was down and I heard a voice say "look up" and of all the places I could have looked, when I looked up, with tears running down my eyes, there was a bronze statue of Jesus hanging on a cross. I then heard the same voice say, "I love you that much". I was almost in a car accident. The car was spinning out of control and I couldn't get it to stop because of the wet ground. So, I screamed, "Jesus" as I was about to hit the median and the car stopped instantly. I have many testimonies like this, so its hard for me to not give God all the glory. With so many people who are coming out of the closet denying Jesus, all I can say is He does exsist. I will say He may not look like the Christ in the pictures but I know there is a God because I experienced Him personally. We also have angels here on 🌎. The Bible says so in Hebrew 13:2. Again, thank you for sharing.

I had to suddenly leave a bad relationship and didn't have a place to live, slept in my car a few nites, my Grandmother Lena Maxwell who lives in my hometown Washington DC , being a woman of GOD prayed for me and later that day I was at a playground in Dillwyn VA with my toddler son and this older lady driving a very old grey car came and asked ME "do you know where I can find an apartment???" I took my son to this playground often and usually the community folks were there. This lady I had never seen before. I had forgot there were actual apartments up the street from the playground, so I took her up there and we met the manager and another man looking for a place to live. The manager said he only had two apartments left. The man took the first apartment application and the older lady with me THIS is what she did- She said " give this last application to her - ME!!!! She didn't need a place and when I asked her over and over was she sure she didn't want the last application she had a peace and assurance about her and returned to her grey car and drove away. I didn't realize until later that the prayer my Grandmother prayed manifested right then and there. I praise God because I was in need of a place. I kept going to the playground with my son and I never saw her again. Now today I'm waiting on God to do more miracles for me and he WILL. PRAYER is powerful and knows no distance.

Leisa, I'm so sorry about your brother and your family's pain. But it is possible that Angels did help your brother in ways that you do not yet now. It is possible that many times he could have been in danger and he was spared. I just know that God loves your brother and your family. But we are never guarantee that we will not have difficulties in this world. But Jesus does promise when we trust him, he will never leave us or abandon us. I really do believe that God looked out for your brother even though of course you did not want to be separated from him for so long! I pray that things get better for him and for you and your family. And that the Lord will touch your broken heart and fill it with his peace and assurance that he really does love you.

@Missy B True spirituality is VERY different than religion. I can see both pro's and con's to religion; but, I never confuse it with spirituality. They aren't mutually exclusive; but, they are ~ by no means ~ mutually inclusive, either! For better or worse, we have free will in our lives; and, we live in a world of both good and evil. I feel very blessed to had my illusions about dogmatic religion shattered (in a different way) at age 7. I also feel very blessed to have been reading at a very advanced level at that time; and, to have had a voracious thirst for truth and a well stocked library within walking distance of where I lived. By the time I was in the 7th grade, I had read so much of the world's religious teachings (eastern and western, ancient and modern) that I was able to extrapolate those elements which tended to be the most common; and, the nuns at my school HATED ME WITH A PASSION... ;P They considered me to be a total heretic; since, I'd ask them questions which I knew they couldn't answer, mostly just for fun; but, also, to get others in my class considering those questions. LOL, Everyone other than my Mom was extremely relieved when I adamantly insisted on going to public school, going into the 9th grade. Even at 65, my personal beliefs are still evolving, within a general framework which includes an understanding of the role of the state in deciding which tenants of religion have survived into the religions of today; and, the (good and bad) motives behind those decisions. It also includes a spiritual evolution which can span many lifetimes and include a variety of belief systems, which might be instrumental in learning assorted lessons. Without this knowledge, the world can be a VERY confusing place! So much so that too many choose to turn their backs on God completely. I, very easily, could have become one of those people; but, God put people to point in directions for me at key points in my life. I feel blessed by that; but, I also understand that blessing come with responsibilities.. I really don't know if I'm typing this for you; or, for someone else who might read it. I only know that I have a responsibility to type it. What I do NOT have is a responsibility to do is to give you (or anyone else) an intact belief system. Mine might not be the one you need at this point. The closest I've even found for myself is TSL (The Summit Lighthouse); and, I don't even believe 100% of what they teach. It HAS, however, given me some useful tools and perspectives to ponder. YOUR responsibility (should you choose to accept it) is to pray for discernment and to set off on a quest for what seems to be the most useful for your own spiritual growth. Now days, we have an immense library at our finger tips - with no "late fees" or mile long hikes in the heat or cold. We have ebay for low cost books which we can keep or donate. A few points which might help you; or, someone else who's reading this, are: 1) ALWAYS pray for guidance and discernment to the God of all that's good. 2) Instead of totally discarding any belief system because it doesn't feel 100% correct, watch for the "tidbits of truth" there might be in each. 3) Discard (at least for the time being) teachings which "smell of" having their roots in greed and a desire for power. 4) Understand that SOME teachings HAD TO be modified due to the ability of the people of those times to understand the basic concepts; and, to more accurately relate them to people who were, for the most part, totally illiterate. 5) ANY oral tradition (or translations, for that matter) are going to have element of what's often called "the telephone game;" or, sometimes "gossip." For those who are unfamiliar with it: a number of people sit in a circle. The 1st person whispers a message to the person next to them. This person, in turn, whispers it to the next person; until it makes its way around the circle At that point, the final person in the circle announces the message, as he or she understood it. Typically, it's considerably different than even what the next to the last person THOUGHT they were conveying. The larger the circle and/or, the more complex the message, the lower the correlation with the original message 6) At one point, I found it useful to see spirituality as 2 (competing) "corporate pyramids." Both are competing for the same customers. The difference is that one wants the best for their customer base; the other wants the best for itself. Each of these "corporations" has subsidiaries and a full complement of "VPs in charge of XYZ," 'Branch Managers," etc. Both are susceptible to the full gamut of infiltration, corporate sabotage, less than fully competent employees, and employees with their own agendas. LOL, Be prepared to go through at least a couple of reams of paper, over an extended period of time; but, to have a lot of fun with it, in the process of gaining perspective.. I hope people find (at least elements of) this helpful in their spiritual quests..

I mean really, dopes here praise the possibility of a bum getting a free hand out for a tank of gas and call it divine intervention while 17 defenceless children under the age of 7 die every minute of everyday, every week, every month,....... from preventible situations and they talk of a caring sky fairy, hilarious and the sky fairy actually tells them they are not his chosen ones and the ones he has chosen don't even believe in him other than a possible prophet. HILARIOUS.

Why would i dislike the possibility of eternal life if it were true? It is simply not and to believe in the fairy tale of Jesus Christ as an adult is way less forgivable than an adult believing in Santa. Evidence of the existence of jesus christ is about the same as the evidence of god, none really. "Did god create man? No man created many gods!" Religion is the route of most evil, money and power is king as history factualizes.

I was going into a waa waa's and an elderly African American was sitting out side the store kinda sweating looked like he drank but not on the day I saw him morning after I got out of work...I went in and after I purchased a coffee and a hash brown I said to my self as a Christian I had not better walk off with out being a good nieghbor and I care . So I saluted him with amile and asked him can I get you anything .. would you like something anything so he asked me for orange juice I asked you sure you don't want anything else? No he said quietly.. sipped and wiped his face ..and I told him that Jesus loved him and that he cared and for him to ask Jesus for his help.. cause this is a hard world we live in .. but he does love you.. as I spoke to him I see people walk by him a look and they contiuned to go on thier way...I said bye... God bless you... I said. Then I got in my car and prayed for him and asked God to make that orange juice the juice that would make a life changing drink.. and that GOd would reveal and save Him. and I also thought how angels test us.. and how sad it would be if I passed him by.. was not worth my time ..!? But no.. way .. I wanted to do a kind deed .. I put myself in others shoes.amen!! Angels testing us?..! Maybe this test was for some other person there that day.. ?.. and I cared enough.. ?! And pass the test...I'll know someday.. I would help any one .. I'm not rich.. work part-time . But I care ..really do....be blessed.!

I noticed posters stating what race the person was they helped or who helped them. Well, keep in mind that God loves every one of us no matter what color skin we are in. It doesn't make the deed any kinder because the person is of another race. In God's eyes we are one race: Human 😉.

Gloria, Jesus said, just giving a cup of cold water in his name would not be forgotten and that when we do it for the least of these we are really doing it for Jesus. When we look at those in need and see Jesus standing there it will help us to remember that God loves them just as much as he loves us and wants us to help them just as much as we would hope to be helped in that situation. I was in a grocery store one day with a friend. While in line I was telling my friend I have to put some of the food back, but couldn't decide what items. I think I mentioned that my mom was sick and needed all the food items. The lady in front of the line paying for her food waited to the side and when I approached the cashier the lady stepped up and placed $20 in front of me. She walked away and me and my friend were in shock. Even the cashier was speechless. I got $10 back in change, ran out looking all around for the lady to give her the change and she was nowhere to be found. 👼

I'm no saint! I'm no saint! I'm no saint! but one of my best moments was when I got the best job of my life and the best income I've ever had. I was out of town and at a grocery store where I saw a lady in need and talked with her. I invited her into the store and grabbed a basket, gave it to her and said,"get whatever you want". I followed behind her and I could see that she didn't quite get the message. I stopped her, looked her in the eyes sternly and said, "anything you want". She would grab hamburger and I would grab steak. She may grab a pack of porkchops and I'd get two more. What fun. The basket overflowed. She was on foot so we loaded it in my truck and I drove her to her dilapidated house. There were plenty of mouths to feed. I don't think she even said thank you but, that's ok. I felt like an angel that day. Sure wish I had that job again.

That is a beautiful story!!! We always worry about the "greater picture" like what is our purpose in life.... But after a lot of research I've learned it's about the smallest moments in life like what you did that matters. A secret smile to a child wen the parent isn't looking, giving someone in despair a ride home. We're here on earth to learn our life lesson and to forgive Bc ppl will always make mistakes, that's why we're here.....To learn from our mistakes and forgive each other.

Rev. Bill, thank you for this beautiful story. It made my day! Several yrs ago, husband and I moved from TN to Calif. to be caretakers for a nature sanctuary. We were on a tight budget, as we'd had no time to save and had short notice. We got to SLC and had car trouble so we were towed. While waiting for the car (which was repairs for something faulty so we didn't have to pay), we got to talking to a man and when we left he gave us $35 and said "here you might need this."" We thanks him profusely. When we checked our ATM account we had just a few dollars left, much less than we thought we had. We bought gas with the $35, which got us safely to where we needed to go in Calif. I have no idea what we would have done without that $35, for which we were very grateful. Somehow, the man must have had a feeling we might need it, bless him.

My spouse and I were in an 18 wheeler hauling an empty trailer back from Houston to Corpus Christi- I drove about an hour so he could sleep. He awoke and was ready to continue driving. In a left curve he went straight over the ditch into a field the sound of screeching metals was that of a horror movie.. We were told by CB radio by other truckers it looked like two angels had picked up front end and back end of truck and placed it Perfectly back o to the lane on the highway. My 6 yr old son and 5 year son were in the sleeper asleep 5 yr old was halfway out side window- my son Pulled him back into the truck with supernatural strength. It was incredible. Angels are closer then we think.Amen! Thank God

I read your story it was awesome, here's my story my son passed away 7 years ago, I left the cemetery of course I was destroyed, I pulled into a small variety store with my mother, she wanted me to get some scratch offs you know lottery tickets, a man pulled up in a powder blue pickup truck, not new a little banged up, small Thin Man dark complexion, he stood in front of my car looking at me from the front windshield, my mother said what's he looking at, up for some reason I didn't feel that he was bad, I waved to him and he gave me a smile, he went into the store and came out with two roses, he smiled at me and he said these are for you, I noticed he didn't have anything else that he bought, I took the Roses as a sign that my son was okay, that they were from him, I still have the Roses, I do believe he was my angel, and my son was safely home, it did give me much comfort, he got back into the powder blue truck gave me a smile and waved goodbye, I believe angels come to you sometimes when you need them the most, to take away the pain of losing someone that you loved!

I have so so many testimonies of how God sent Angels to help me but this particular time. I was at a gas station and I caught a flat tire as I was looking to have an attendant to help change my tire all of a sudden it started to Hail really bad from the sky out of no where this young man with a red and white T shirt on with big bold letters JESUS across the front of his t shirt jumped in to action and began changing my tire. I was handing him money for changing my tire he refused and said in a crying voice I can not accept money because I want to please God by helping people he sprinted to his vehicle and vanished. I was trying to see what direction and to see his car clearly the hail storm was so fierce I could not make out anything. I just praised God for sending Help my way this is one of several testimonies of how God has sent Angels to Help me.

Wow what a vid and all the stories here on this page! I have my own. My daughter was about 3 yrs old and had climbed onto a high climbing frame in the park. She had got to the top but couldn't get down and neither could I get to her. She was about to get really upset when a very tall man came out of nowhere, reached up and got her down. I checked her over,turned around to say thanks but in all that open ground around us, he had disappeared. Reading your stories, it seems that there are similarities.To be honest, if it hadn't happened to me, I don't know what I would think, but it did. Glory to the Holy Trinity and all the company of heaven!

Back in 1995 I drove with my Jaguar from Mexico to Costa Rica. The Jaguar has a hydraulic suspension. I was driving in Honduras on a long stretch of a rough road though wilderness. All of a sudden I could not control the steering wheel anymore. I stopped I stepped out of my car and looked at the problem and saw that oil was leaking out of my hydraulic system. My car was sitting on the tires and I could not drive it anymore. I did not know what to do because it is dangerous sitting there on a road with a broken down car. I fell on my knees and cried out to my Lord. It was about 20 min later and a car stopped on a road where almost never anyone comes. A man stepped out and had a bottle with Hydraulic oil in his hand. He filled my hydraulic oil system. I started my car and it came off the tires and worked again. When I stepped out I saw the man driving away. After looking no oil dripped out. I drove 600 Mi to Costa Rica without a drop of oil leaking out. In San Jose Costa Rica My oil started leaking again. I was very close to a Garage where they repaired the leak. God heard my cry and send an Angel or a person I don’t know. However God gave me to see a Miracle. The Lord is our provider and sure refuge.

Definitely a blessing, angel or no. Still, I won't dismiss that possibility, Was broken down once, small kids in the car, traffic all over, and stuck in the street. Sat there a long time with people honking and rude. About to risk being hit, and two guys show up from nowhere to push the car. BIG guys, I looked for them to offer a drink, and they were gone, and no one saw where they went. Helpful strangers or angels? Don't know, but grateful.

My boyfriend and our son got into a bad accident the car fliped a few times .my 2 year old son was upside down in in car seat and my boyfriend could not reach him .he then seen a man unclip my son and lifted him out of the back window .my boyfriend then managed to get himself out of the passenger window .when he stood the man passed him our son .my boyfriend kissed our son and looked up to thank the man but he was gone .my boyfriend is atheist .he said he asked the police and fire Department etc were the man went .no one seen any man .it just shows u something is out there .and god loves u all

Lord have mercy on my soul, I'm not sure why I was lead to this story tonight 10/29/18. Only God knows I have a wonderful angel story where my life was saved by Grace , it was in 1990's It was in Washington DC a very cold and snowy night I should not have been out in the weather I went up a hill off of Southern Ave in SE DC to an acquaintance home when I left I proceeded down the Hill. I started to lose control of the car the car started to skid and it started to Skid in the direction of a large steep hill which was behind a CVS drug store on Southern Avenue, at the time I thought that I could get out of the car I open the driver's door to put my foot on the ground but because of the ice and the snow I felt myself being sucked under the car, then I started to pray and ask God to please help me don't let me die on that Hill Lord please help me all of a sudden I felt the pressure of a hand in my right side that gave me such a hard push it actually pushed me completely out of the car in a balled-up figure on the ice away from the car I started to scream holler and cry to God as I saw my car position itself with the lights pointed towards that embankment hill which was steep. I tried to get up off of the ice, I watch the car take off between the trees behind the CVS I was screaming, I was hollering I was crying out to God and all of a sudden there was a man with a small child coming up the hill and he said Miss Miss are you alright is there anybody else in your car if it is they are dead are you are you alright give me your hand we've got to go see about your car I said no no he said miss you got to give me your hand please it was dark I was not able to see his face him in that small child they appeared from nowhere, he took my hand went behind that drug store and as we approach my little car it had position itself with a lights were facing this big dumpster behind the drugstore he walked around the car I stood on the side screaming and hollering he said miss your car is all right you can drive it, I said no he said miss you can't leave your car here he said you can drive it he persuaded me to get in the car I got in the driver's seat as I went to look around to tell him thank you get his name say something him and the child had vanish I got in my car and I drove to my daughter's house which was not far when I got there I immediately stopped got out got screaming and hollering and crying for her to try to explain what had just happened and the car started to run hot to this day it's hard to tell that story because nobody really can believe what happen for some reason I was led to these stories about the Angels tonight I too have my own Angel story I never saw that gentleman again I don't know if the little child was a boy or girl. What it happened was the car had a busted radiator it had to be towed and the frame was bent but the car was not damaged. God sent an angel the angel that God had for me to help me that night because I finally started to pray and call on help from God, God is real Jesus is Love. This is a true story I love the Lord

@Ginger Lee Most people that come to faith as an adult do so because of some sort of trauma or hardship and just want something to hang on to. s far as "Real World" that is a silly question. A real world is one where you don't need a fantasy to survive in. If you think there is another world after you die then you are one of many that just can not accept that you only get this life and your belief is no more than a CULT. There is NOT ONE shred of actual evidence of another world after we die. There is NOT ONE shred of actual evidence that there is a spiritual realm, only peoples say so which is absolutely no form of proof at all. EVEERYTHING you believe in is totally MAN MADE and fabricated. Evil is neither normal or abnormal. Muslims believe you should be put to death if you do not follow the Muslim faith. Now to everyone else that would be considered evil but to the believers that is called following the faith. Quicksand has a place and we just don't know why. Why do we have an appendix, we don't need it but it is there. Science has proven that there is thousands of planets out there and you seem to think that God chose this little planet and out of nothing, put 2 people here and away we went. children having sex with their parents and with each other for generations then we get black people, white people and Asian people not to mention all other races as well and all that just seems to make sense does it. Well, sorry it just does not, not even a little bit. The fact is, we do not know what our origins are and we never ever will. If God was real then it would be just so easy for him to show himself because if he did then that would be the end of ALL wars, the end of ALL famine, the end of ALL greed and the list goes on because we would ALL know we are to be judged. All religion is totally fake and run by people than need Power, money and Control. But not from me.

Secondly, You For Assisting Your Grandson Longer Than Expected; To Only Turn Around And Not Have To Wait The Whole Hour.. Lastly, Being There To Assist The Little Girl In Her Time Of Need For The Pool..The Living GOD Is Still Among Us And His Presence Is Still Water😍..Such A Beautiful Testimony/Story. ((GOD✝️BLESS))

If he had taken the little girl with the other children to the pool that day she would have been left behind and would have ended up unsupervised in her neighborhood that day, also that same day, at 4:45 pm, if she had not gone to the pool, she would have been kidnapped and never seen again. That was the real reason this entire thing happened.

Probably 20 years ago, I was out on a rainy night and my car got stuck in the mud when I backed out of a store parking lot. Rain was coming down in buckets and it was thundering and lightening. A man tapped on my side window and I rolled down the window. He asked if I needed some help and I answered yes. He pushed my car out of the mudhole, and I was thankful and asked his name. He answered Michael. I turned my head and looked back and he was gone.

I had an angel at a gas station in Maryland with a very same scenario. I didn't need money, but he saw I was troubled that day, and he spoke to me of things I was thinking about that no one could know. He would not give me his information either. Pretty amazing! Glad you were touched!

My youngest son passed at age 18 while I worked the overnight shift. He had Special needs which did contribute to his passing. My faith did take a shaking but let me tell you all, the Angels were there, to escort my beloved boy to Heaven. Be a naysayer, doubter, atheist or just plain fool who likes to stir trouble. To rob the faithful of their comfort. I'll pray for you. One day you will cry out for God's help. What if He turned his back as you have. My life, my son, my God and my Angels, all came together in the wee hours of the morning to gently lift my boy

That is the goal, anybody who goes to heaven is a saint, I have not made it yet but it is my goal and hopefully yours as well. I am a Catholic and sometimes people treat me unfair, but I have no reason to be mean to others. The fact alone that you noticed this means that you are a good child of our LORD, which means that God is truly with you and has worked through you because of your faith in Him. It's 2:00 am here in Cape town. Am so blessed by this gentleman's story and the faithfulness of our God. Last week, I had to take my car to a mechanic. It was misfiring and the engine warning light was on. It's an Opel Omega. The mechanic seemed all excited telling me he thinks I had blown a gasket and the car would have to go to engineering, etc. When he connected the car to some diagnostics machine, he said it showed that 3 of the 6 plugs needed to be changed. I refused to worry in my heart. I had about $100, to spend on repairs. I left the car with the mechanic and prayed that even if the car had blown a gasket, I asked God to send angels to fix that gasket and let any other repairs be about $100, not more. In my mind's eye, I actually saw the mechanic's place as I was praying and I saw angels working on the car in the spirit. The mechanic was supposed to call and tell me of his findings and estimate for the repair job. Eventually he texted to saying someone had left a hose running and some part of the car had too much water. He would work on that and replace the plugs. Two days later, he called that the car was ready. The engine light was off, the car was driving smoothly, not misfiring anymore and the bill was a little over $100. I was so grateful to God to have my car back. God really answered my prayer and had his angels fix that car I believe. I had a similar problem over 10 years ago with another Opel Omega and had to spend over $2000 to replace an engine. God really cares. I had been reading Gary Keesee's Your Financial Revolution and I was learning to speak forth my request by faith and believe to see it come to pass. The Lord came through as always. Thank you JESUS.

I have a more compelling story. On my way to do a Praise and Worship at a church. My vehicle started overheating on the I95 to the point where the engine was about to burn up so I pulled off to the side before I mount the ramp to get off the exit. When I wondered where I was going to get water from to refill my radiator that was now empty. I wondered off to the side of the road and SAW A 5 GALLON bucket of water just sitting in the bushes. Faith is real.

@@Lili-Benovent You have to remember that we live in a broken world. The things that are so awful and terrible to us were never part of God's original intent for us. However, it's because of OUR disobedience (because we have "Free Will" to make our own choices) that Sin (Aka EVIL) is present. Now before you call God a "flea", don't forget that he sacrificed HIS OWN SON and allowed Him to be mocked, tortured and hung up on a piece of wood to die for YOU, for ME, and for EVERYONE! Now can you honestly say that you would sacrifice your child (if you have one) for everyone else's benefit? If it were not for this sacrifice, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US would be sent to Hell when we die. Just remember that everything that happens in this world, although it may not always be beautiful, is happening for a reason. It's not our job to know what that reason is, but instead to trust that God's got this.

@@mynameiswrm What total bullshit, the world is in great shape compared to the past and it's getting better, if you were born 300 years ago your life expectancy was about 35 years and if you reached 45 you were considered old, wars, disputes and disease made sure of that, today we have serums and immunization to prevent all sorts of diseases, there were many more wars in those days and more people were killed, the only difference today is that modern communications allows everybody to see the events as they happen, life expectancy is up to about 80 years now and increasing, you miserable Christians always dwell on the negatives because it suits your purpose to have everybody afraid of dying and going to Hell, your Skyfather, Heaven and Hell don't exist and Jesus never existed, it's all just superstitious bullshit.

I lost my home in Tornedo 2003. And had just gotten divorced! I was guided by the Holy Spirit to go to a certain shelter where a Angel in human form was waiting there to. Help me !!! The spirit. told me this Angel knew me and would be a. Blessing to me. So I went and a sweet, kind, gentle young man smiled and said. " God is proud of you for being a overcomer thru your trial here on Earth". I felt sooo comforted and secure near this stranger!! He got me a cup of coffee with cream n sweetner just as I liked. I said " How did you know, I didn't mention how I like it? He smiled saying lucky guess. Then told me a church I should join that has loving people. He then had a. Check that was already written out before I met him ready to. Give me!! I. refused it and several times he said ". Please, please take this check because I'm suppose to give it. To. You!!!!" He said the. Check will change your life! I felt sorry for a young man dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt giving me a check and/ I. refused it. He made a deal saying he will give it to that church he wanted me to go to and if I wasn't there to take it. It will go to that church! 2 months later I. Went. And questioned if money was donated to a. Female tornedo victim??? They. Said. Yes,. And it was for $ 100,000. Dollars! Obey God when he wants to bless you, folks. I was stubborn and. Prideful

so strange but I too have a gas story. A few years ago I always let me car run to the bottom before I got gas, I knew I always had about 15-20 miles to go once the light came on. I work about 20 miles from home in Orange County, CA. One day as I was driving home (work is sorta stressful and marriage is super stressful) my car began to stop on the freeway and I had to pull over. I knew it was my fault and I would get a ticket if a cop saw me. I was only on the side of the road for about 1 minute during busy daytime traffic when a car pulled up behind me (I believe I had called AAA and was prepared to wait up to 30 minutes) some kid got out of this car and asked do you need gas I said heck yes. He filled my tank with just a few gallons and off I went. I asked him how much money? He said none. Just a service "they" provide and he had a HUGE smile on his face is was so strange because young adults don't act like that at all now days. After I left I kept thinking that for sure I know of NO SERVICE such as this. I have lived in Orange County my whole life and have always been on the local freeways all over California. I have never heard anyone speak of such a free service. How did he know I was out of gas? So he just drives the freeway all day looking for someone to help?

My testimony of God's always listening takes place in Dallas TX. About 7 years ago I had been unemployed for 3 months and money was starting to dwindle as I couldn't qualify for unemployment due to me leaving my former awful boss. One day after leaving an interview that went sour, about 15 mins outside of the city I noticed a really beautiful 20 story glass building and said to God, wow I wonder how awesome it would be to work in such an incredible building as such as I marveled at it..... The next morning at 8AM I got a call from a recruiter stating that she had secured a job for me on the 19th Floor of the Richards Group building and when I looked up the address after the call it was the building that I had seen the previous day... Out of all of the hundreds of thousands of IT jobs in this city there is no way that any of this could have been a coincidence. From then on at 23 yrs old my career launched at that place and I got promoted 3 times in 3 yrs up to helpdesk supervisor with 0 college and only a GED. I am now an engineer without any college and I thank God for his blessings everyday and share this story for those who may need to hear it. As we all fall from grace from time to time, and I believe God does things like this for us to share his presence and to reassure others in some way. Lastly the cherry on top during my unemployment my spouse and I had gone to dollar bingo and out of two rooms full of people won at the same exact time and that secured my car payment followed by another win the following weeks. Prior to me starting the new job. Praise Jesus my lord and savior!!!
