I love the idea of aging teddy bears ! I have my big teddy bear from my first christmas & he is so worn, beings had him since christmas 1962 in Germany . My dad was in the army & my parents first yrs of their marriage was in Germany. At first there was no room on the base & they rented a apartment from a german family (actually the german family lived in the house) but part had apartment where mom & dad lived. I have few pictures of that christmas of the tree and the bear - the bear has followed me thru so many many moves in my childhood (dad retired in 1975) & then I have moved many times in my adult yrs. But i still have my bear.

I NEVER tire of whatever you share with us so don’t ever stop showing us anything old, primitive or made to look primitive. I find your channel so inspiring and already watch Anne and Bridgette. While I like a lot of different things I am not a minimalist and mix and match primitive with cut glass with basketry with pictures and on and on and on. Your visits are just so therapeutic for my heavy heart. Heavy with Hunny’s health issues but I find ways to distract from all that and when “I’m home” comes to my inbox…I’m so ready to stop whatever I’m doing and grab a glass or cup of tea and let you take me to a time that I so miss. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and treasures!!!:):):)

You dear lady just popped up in my feed a few weeks ago. You were talking of the visit with your dear sweet friend Eileen and her husband. Thanks for the prayers…I’d be lost without God guiding me through this difficult time and please know how much I appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I trust He knows best but it’s tough when we hit the healthcare issues of our golden years. KZfaq vlogs are my saving grace to keep my sanity and your vlogs are now also a part of my source of that sanity!!!:):):)

Love your style, creativity, and most of all...your loving heart and soul! I believe that lamp IS ABSOLUTELY YOUR FAMILY HEIRLOOM! My instincts tell me it was "found" by your grandma and mother...and manifested for your own special "Christmas miracle". I dont believe in coincidences or accidents...I believe in guardian angels, God's Grace...and a love so strong that it truly never dies. Enjoy that special "family gift" and know this was a special, personal Christmas blessing that was granted by God!

This is by far my favorite video of yours yet! So many wonderful ideas❤❤. Our home is done very primitive and I tell people all of the time that it doesn’t have to be expensive antiques. Back in those days they made do with what they had, made repair after repair and those antiques are still here 150 years later. Like you said with your awesome bears that I love, until you can afford those expensive antique bears, there’s nothing wrong with reproductions or hand made items. So many ask how I afford all these antiques. I don’t and can’t, many are things I’ve made like you do, thrifted, etc. I thrift for curtain panels to make pillow covers, old cross stitch that are done and coffee stain them and thrift frames for them. Those little wooden spoons are very hard to find, they’re salt spoon! You are amazingly talented and so enjoyed this❤❤. You manifested your beautiful lamp❤❤❤.Merry Christmas from our home in upstate New York to yours♥️🌲♥️ Debby

Enjoyed your tour and the stories. I'm a quilt purist, also. It is frustrating to see a machine-quilted quilt labeled "handmade." I did open up a new sewing machine and piece together two little doll quilts for my granddaughters this week. I haven't used a sewing machine since 1982, so I felt like I'd earned a purple heart at the very least and thought that the machine would make a superb military training activity to put soldiers in the right mindset for battle. I threaded that needle a minimum of 20 times, and I was sure I could have sewn it faster by hand. But I wanted to see if I knew how to use a machine and thought straight lines was a good place to start, although some were less straight than others. :) I still have to finish hand-quilting the quilt I'm making for my daughter. I was dumb and picked a complex pattern. It's like when I was asked to paint my brother's dog, and I finally delivered the painting after the dog had died. I'm just going to have to stick to it and get it done. Lastly, if you go to Bing Image Creator, you can use AI.... Type in "a vintage illustration of..." and the picture you want, and you can create your own vintage images. You will probably need to count fingers, arms, and legs, and I have noticed that sometimes it doesn't matter if you say "a single," or two, or four, you'll get however many of an item it feels like, and if you say "a woman," don't be surprised if it ignores you even when you try to clarify with "a female woman lady without facial hair." If you say "bunnies," ears might be sprouting from anything and everything. Sometimes it looks a bit like some of Mengele's test subjects. You can click "customize" and delete some things that are where they shouldn't be, like toys on the sidewalk OUTSIDE of the toy shop, which is easier than removing snow on the mantel inside. Sometimes I think the AI is a tad dense and other times maybe just messing with me. Still, it's fun to see the images come to life. I am hoping to use some "vintage" images for decoupage.

I absolutely think a handmade quilt is more difficult than setting a computer to do it for you, and you should just say, “I machine quilted this.” No shame in it, but it’s different. You sound like a busy person. Thank you for taking time to watch my channel!
