Thank you for comment. This kit has several problems with detailing (resin seats, wheels, cockpit and nozzle will help) and connections, but all problems are solvable. Anyway, this is the best Mirage F.1 in 1/72 scale. Decals are amazing - Cartograf.

Wonderful build!!! How did you cut the mask for the wheels using a compass? Was there a blade on one end? I also never thought to use a liquid mask to protect the wheel wells. I will need to try that.

Thank you. Yes, one compass needle is sharpened like a blade. It is necessary to measure the diameter of the wheel disc with a compass, cut out a circle and try on a mask on the wheel. If necessary, correct the diameter of the circle. It is convenient to use a liquid mask for wheel well, you can safely paint the wheel well, cover it with a mask and then paint the model. It is desirable that the liquid mask is not very thick, then you can carefully make the border of the wheel well.

What did you spray before doing the panel lines, and then how did you remove excess? Turpenoid?

@@b3_Media Before washing, I covered the model with a semigloss varnish, removed the wash with a odorless solvent for oil paints, yes, something like turpentine.
