About Pulp Fiction:
Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega are two hitmen out to retrieve a suitcase stolen from their employer, mob boss Marsellus Wallace. Wallace has also asked Vincent to take his wife Mia out a few days later when Wallace himself will be out of town. Butch Coolidge is an aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight. Honey Bunny and Pumpkin are a couple of young lovers and small time thieves who decide they need a change of venue. The lives of these seemingly unrelated people are woven together in a wildly entertaining and exhilarating motion picture adventure that both thrills and amuses.

@@Ace-ke7fq Shes 5'11", her feet are aren't out of proportion. They don't look that big anyway, it doesn't look like they have a high arch which I think might be making them look bigger than they are, but thats about it. And with the dance moves being copied, thats the whole point of the mix match routine Mr Bright Spark, and a huge part of what makes it so iconic.

What I love about Tarantino films isn’t just the dialogue but it’s the small details. You can see when Mia gets the idea to dance and watching it back you appreciate it so much even tho it’s such a small detail.

its cause almost every scene in this film is a abstracted version of or a stright repeat of many famos and iconic scenes from dozens of films from over many diffrent decades all put together one after the other. engenius idea cause it makes for a great film, but theres almost nothing original about the film. no scenes that were from quentins own mind a such.

The greatest movie dance of all time with no equal. Puts all musicals to shame. No dance after has ever come close to the organic moves, the whimsical hand motions, the tip toe balancing, the paired synchronization, the perfectly matched song and of course the camera choreography. Truly a masterpiece. The only lament is it wasn't a bit longer. But even that is a testament to its perfection as it fades too soon leaving us begging for an extended dance number.

When I was about 12 years old we were in Florida during a hurricane. Several little friends were along too. The twist was just becoming popular. My Dad entertained us so we wouldn’t be afraid the whole night. Partly by doing the twist and he did it just like John T is doing it here. The storm raged and he danced. 😊 funny memory. ❤

What few mention about this movie is the wonderfully cheesy impressions of Ed Sullivan and Marilyn Monroe. Wonderful theater! And how the dancing couple show along with stellar dancing steps, two absolute "don't give a damn about each other' attitudes. One of the top dancing scenes ever!

JT flies his own Boeing, he’s a man of many great talents. He has also had immense grief, his girlfriend Hyland died and his son and wife passed. Love this guy.💙

When I was like 12 I had a "friend", (she was the daughter of one of my mom's friend). She was tall and slim, cute as heck. She was 19 at the time. One Halloween I saw her with short, dark hair down to her shoulders, white slim shirt, and black tight pants. I was probably staring for at least 5 minutes, I thought she looked so stunning, so pretty, so hot, so classy. And then she looked at me all smiley and touched my nose while saying something like "It's Mia Wallace, silly!" Tarantino is rightly lauded for being a great director of course but good lord his casting abilities are even more amazing. Travolta in this is simply incredible and let’s face it he’d been in the wilderness till this came up. An iconic scene.

Why does everyone always talk about how great John Travolta dances in this scene, but no one ever points how great Uma Thurman dances? She pulls off as many, if not more, iconic dance moves as Travolta and she does it with 10 times the energy. 🙌🙌🙌 to Uma Thurman for her part in this amazing and unforgettable dance routine. She deserves as much praise as Travolta.

I think this should be taken as part of the scene. She started it and he just followed. And he's dancing with his boss's wife. Dialogue before the dance for a reason, not necessarily that she told the truth, not necessarily that he believed her.

Thurman learned her moves. They were not spontaneous and she had no natural timing. Travolta has perfect timing and natural ability. Just compare the swiiming moves, where Travolta gives that addedmove from his shoulder, where Thurman just sticks her arms out. Or the Batman sequence where she covers her whole face with her hand. Travolta used 2 fingers, showing it was the Batman mask. My favourite was when he danced on his toes, heels off the ground - that was his gift, he didn't have to be tought the move. And I thought Thurman's outfit was hideous.

Классно! ни когда не надоест! Читала, что Траволта в детстве ходил на бальные танцы и у него очень даже хорошо получалось, т.е. он пацан с танцевальным опытом, а вот Ума такого опыта не имела и на съёмках этого фильма, конкретно этого эпизода, ей пришлось попотеть, не все получалось даже с 3-го раза, Траволта очень ей помог с танцем

I do believe Marsellus told you to take me out and do whatever I wanted. Well, now I want to dance. Vincent smiles and begins taking off his boots. Mia triumphantly casts hers off. He takes her hand, escorting her to the dance floor. The two face each other for that brief moment before you begin to dance, than they both break into a devilish twist. Mia’s version of the twist is that of a sexy cat. Vincent is pure Mr. Cool as he gets into a hip- swivelling rhythm that would make Mr. Checker proud.
