Finally!!!!!! 🙏 Someone is now talking on carry bag charges. This carry bag has become an extra income for all the businesses. Shockingly the large stores charge you more, whereas the smaller competitive discount stores have started giving free carry bags. Just last week I had to pay Bata extra money for a paper carry bag. When I asked that guy why he was charging for something that was always free, he went round and round in circles. Stores like "Lifestyle", Westside, Globus, Big Bazar, Spencers,etc etc are making a neat amount from carry bag sales alone. Hope you inspire more people to make such videos Just loved it 💕💜

Printed bags are anyways free of cost. Nobody can charge you to promote their own bag as per supreme court order. The shopping malls now either give printed bag for free or charge money for plain bag. But i think the plain bags should be free of cost too. Depending upon the sale amount one can request free bag from cashier.

Entertaining video, but quite a sad message. really appreciate it when your videos spread social messages, rather than looking to just get views. The reason they charge is to encourage people to get their own bags. Would be much better to raise awareness for people to get their own bags and reduce, reuse and recycle.

@@hemantkumar2892 yes, I do agree it has become a huge revenue stream in fact, but the reason there was a ban on certain types of plastic carry bags was to try and get people to be more eco sensitive, which is what ideally should be highlighted, if people take the trouble of carrying a few cloth bags with them for shopping, which is usually a planned event, it goes a long way.

Carry bags are chargeable so that customers are encouraged to bring their own bag for shopping.. This helps to reduce single paper or plastic use.. Paying extra charge is a reminder to prioritise sustainable way of living.

According to Law if Carry Bag has Branding it should be non-chargable. You cannot charge for Carry Bag with Logo of the Item the Customer has Purchased.
