something I don't think enough people mentioned is that Sonic exe here (at least from what I can tell) seems to be The End from frontiers, which is something I really find interesting

finally someone notices the little quote I added to the description :0 btw yeah, you're correct in a way, my take on Sonic.EXE here (+ in the Megamix songs) is, to put it simply - the Mobian reincarnation of The End, created to carry out its plans whilst it's still trapped within Cyberspace also this cover takes place shortly after he's eliminated all of Team Sonic, minus Sonic himself - I'll let you guess what the ending means btw ;)

@@bloxxybox2576 honestly the end taking the form of sonic is something thats really interesting and also makes sense, the end becomes what the person it's facing fears most, and chances are nothing scares sonic more than the idea that he could be the villain one day

@@AHun-t I don't think it makes sense for Sonic to fear himself becoming the villain because he's always been there to do the right thing and The End even stated that no matter what happened or who he faced the blue blur's courage never once wavered.

@@CalebVela682 Courage is not acting with a lack of fear - that's bravery. Courage is acting *in spite* of one's fear. Sonic does have his fears, but he never once lets them get to him.

well yeah, but this is an unofficial Sonic cover of a Mario Mix song, so I didn't want people to confuse it with the official Sonic Shuffle / Sonic Mix thing ik that GAME OVER: Megadrive Mix exists, but that's more of just a remix name than a whole song collection

Can we just appreciate sonic trying to beat exe. Even though he lost he stood his ground for earth, his enemies,and ESPECIALLY his friends. He literally fighted his loved ones, that have been turned into mauled slaves by a demon version of himself. Most exe’s overpower their counterparts, but that didn’t stop him. I can imagine a good future remix of this song where Sonic goes super with the chaos emeralds right as it seems like he's lost the fight with him making a comeback. Super Sonic would beat Sonic.exe and save his friends. (Someone did make a good ending version of Mirror mode so it'd be cool if you did this idea here.) The best remix name would be Mirror Mode Super Sonic style mix.

in a way sorta yeah??? Xalgo (my take on EXE here), the Mobian reincarnation of The End, possesses Sonic's body because the former's form without it is "imperfect" in a way, with it also basically doubling the Sonic attributes he already has because of the vessel
