Perhaps my favorite Elbow song.... Lyrics soaking with romance, wispy drums, swelling strings, shimmering piano, swaying guitar, strolling groove...inducing dreams of being under the moon with a soulmate. Thank you ❣️ 😊

That gorgeous arpeggio in E that unites the whole song, with Guy Garvey's vocals riding the thermoclines above the verses and chorus. Magical.

I can't stop listening to this. Beautifully performed, recorded and mixed. Please pass on our thanks to Gita, Rosie, Chris and Alex for helping make this as magical as it is. This has to be the best version I've ever heard! Is there any chance of releasing this version as an NHS fundraising single? Pretty please!

Now that's a marvelous way to start any morning. Thank you for the slice of brightness and stunning performance from everyone. This song is super special to me and part of a playlist I listen to for a work in progress because hey, a writer can dream about being able to adapt a work to film and recommend the soundtrack, eh? :) Thanks for yet another slice of amazing and I'll stick my latest requests, New York Morning and still think we need to let the sun inside, so "Ribcage". My best to all of you and cheers to all fellow Elbow fans. May we one day be able to share a pint at a show or after and toast to good vibes and great times.

Hello from Las Vegas, NV! I would love to hear Seven Veils! I was supposed to see you in your hometown April 1st for my 30th anniversary present from my husband. Completely gutted. I can't begin to tell you what your music means to me and my 2 girls. Every time we've seen you in L.A. and Oakland, CA we just hold each other and cry for the entire concert. Truly, it's a spiritual experience for us!!

It's so difficult to choose... I go for Trust the Sun, and The Everthere. Mirrorball has always been one of my favorites, I almost cried when you played it live, last Summer in Lucca. And I would never have thought that one day my name would have appeared in a video by you, Elbow... You really are making our days better, during the Age of Social Distancing (thank you, virus...). That's invaluable. Thank you so much! (And a special thanks to the guest musicians, too.) Greetings from Italy!

I’ve been around music all my life. I’ve mucked around in bands & even came close to some success, but it wasn’t to be. In that time, many great artists have written many great songs, but I've only heard three that are picture perfect (to me) in the beauty of their music & the imagery of their lyrics. Lovely Head by Goldfrapp, Ghosts by Japan and Mirrorball. You probably don’t play away much, but I’d love you to cover one of these. One even has some whistling! Maybe Harvest for the world too. A most apt record for such troubled times & perhpas my favourite track of all time. Maybe this request is left field, but even the tower crane driver had to get off the bus to cross the field once! Your Soulfully...

I loved this song and i was chuffed to see my name going up in the list of people who requested the song (It was actually listed twice so I'm taking this as a sign the song was done just for me and I'm discounting the possibility of a typo or there being 2 people called Rob H) My son Thomas Harrison, who is 6, is a massive Elbow fan and he looks forward to these songs every week. He'd like to hear My Trouble and would be very excited to see his name at the end of a video. Thanks for these songs each week. They are a little highlight to a tough lockdown. My family are in for the 12 week haul so we really appreciate it. Thanks again and stay safe. Rob.
