Any% speedrun
This was the first sub 2hr speedrun.
We found some nice glitches in the very first week. With the current rate of glitches found it will certainly be beaten soon.

Does it matter? Faith is the player who has to parkour around doing stuff. All you need to know. Honestly its not going to win any awards but its fine.

these missions are so repetitive. played halfway through it (about the 50:00 point) and just couldnt take it anymore. i really hope we get a Mirrors Edge 3 thats open world like this with much better missions and more interaction with people in the world.

You didn't only broke that sentinel's ankles, you broke every single bone in his entire body . And I just want to say how good this Speedrun felt, it felt like an actual gameplay instead of loading screen simulator. I also liked the efficiency you had and the fact that you weren't commenting on every single thing you did and just in the right times instead.

Kieran Kilvington Well the story isn't the point of the game it's the story it's a vehicle to move Faith to new exciting areas to run in,but the counterpoint to those new and exciting areas is getting to know the overworld,getting into the grove,learning the routes,beeing able to run anywhere and knowing exactly how to That's my opinion at least,I had tons of fun with the game just like that if every setpiece was the big exciting climax of the story then what am I even doing with my life? it's like taking drugs and slowly becoming unable to enjoy life without the high it's not healthy to always seek thrill,find the thrill in the monotonous That's the spirit of why we run,to use that phrase without it actually applying to reality

You should play the first Mirror's Edge, Mirror's Edge Catalyst's gameplay is more amazing and looks so much better, but it takes away things that made the first one better.

Still till this day there are no fully realistic parkour games. I have yet to see a game that vaults play a heavy importance on the gameplay. I guess the best imo would be “vector” a phone game

Oh yeah there's a speed glitch where if you land on a soft pad if you spam the shift forward and slide button right as you land you start the getting up animation but then shift off forward. It saves like .5 of a second I think.

im not sure if you knew this but if you have 2 items in making a corner and can't make it up to the top of an object what you can do is: so lets say the wall is to your right when facing the corner, face other wall or rectangle pipe thing, wallrun and quickly do a quick turn and continue to move your mouse right and jump again, it works 100% of the time for me.

Personally I feel it’s faster to roll out of slides then go through the animation of faith getting back up from the slide. And it feels cooler which is what matter to me lol

in the original mirrors edge they cut a lot and i mean a lot of content out. like the open world and 70% of the story. so since this is a reboot i think this is the game they wantes to originaly make. some quick proof is the last level in booth games. they are booth called the shard

Spamming coil jump is no longer faster, instead spam shift (the move not the button). Thats why we dont pick coil at all. Some pick it once everything important has been picked just to have it.

Slide button+Dash/Super Sprint button. For example, on console for Xbox, the slide button is LT and Dash button's RT, hold LT, then press Rt.

At 1:55:00 if you slide through the vent you will be able to reach the pole to climb up the building

Im going slow so that i can carefully approach the trick. This way i got it first try, failing the jump (or even worse a death) costs alot of time
