How to style Halo Style Extensions with Short Hair

I hope this is helpful for those of you with short hair that were considering these type of Halo Style extensions! It doesn't weigh down the hair at all- so its great for damaged hair too, and so easy to put in and take out!

My style I am wearing is the Daydream 14" in #1 Jet Black.
Full transparency- I was sent these Halo Style extensions from Hidden Crown for free. I researched a ton after cutting my hair and found this brand were one of the best on the market, and reached out to them. They never asked me to make a video for their product. This is all 100% my own opinion, you guys know I only promote products I LOVE.

I have the same hair as you naturally. I really struggle with extensions too 😭😭😭 ive turned a few sets of extensions into halo . It really is the least damaging for hair like ours if don’t want to go down the wig road . They look lovely xx

Best video I've seen on these extensions...all the others are just curly massive hair that doesn't look real whilst yours realy does....and this is the first video where you pulled the wire to the front of your head and I think it will stay on....I've got some on the way can't wait after watching this 😍

I watched like eight videos your video is the best you and I have incredibly similar hair I have areas where my hair has fallen out and I bought the Revlon Halo extensions I'm going to order whatever extensions you're using though but our hair is exactly the same cut and exactly probably the same amount of thinness you made it incredibly easy for me thank you so much I would like to subscribe to your Channel and if you have any other channels please let me know because I'm very impressed with your video I'm going to share it with a couple of my friends

mirrorsandhaze I got regular clip in extensions and I literally wear them maybe once a year because it takes me a good 45 mins to put in my super fine hair so I never even get my monies worth with them so these are perfect for the lazy not good at hair girl :)

Thanks for the video! I've recently gotten interested in getting hair extensions. I tried clip in hair extensions and found that my hair is too thin on the sides for the clips to clip on to and my hair is being pulled out by the clips. I'm interested in these halo extensions but do they fall off? I have below shoulder length hair and blunt cut without much layers, is it going to be able to blend with just a single piece vs clips ins that have multiple pieces? Thanks!

How secure is this? I’d be afraid that it would come out. Does it give you a headache? And is it okay for very thin and short hair (chin length)?

I understand your pain. I've got full head been fitted for a week. Now I'm taking it out. The itching 4days of pain. Also it looked like a wig. What happens when the wire breaks?

I have damaged hair and bold spots to but mine is due to a overactive thyroid caused by graves disease i also have short hair shoulder length but also have shorter in places due to hair growthive been wondering about these hair extensions and wasn't sure if it would look ok in my hair but seen your video it's persuaded me to get some you look amazing thank you for sharing xx

Hello! So glad I found your video. You are the only one who has a video with the DAYDREAM extensions. Everyone is doing the review on the thicker one, the HiddenCrown. I want to get these extensions but I have very thin hair and would have liked to see you show the length of the Daydream extension to compare with the HiddenCrown (thicker one). Again I have very very thin hair and very little hair, so I want to know if these less full extensions will give me my desired look?? Is there any way you can email me, or actually better, post on your Instagram the length of the Daydream extensions with you wearing them? I want to get the 14" but I'm thinking of the 16" but the 16" extensions are the thicker ones. Can't decide. Please help. (Maybe also someone here can help if you have purchased the Daydream Extensions.) Thank you!

How long will this last me if I wear it EVERY day ALL day? If I don’t use heat on it, don’t tug on it, make sure it doesn’t get damaged, etc?

Looks super interesting! I'm also looking for a less time consuming solution for my fine lob to change it up from time to time. I'm wondering though, how does it stay put during the day? Doesn't the wire roll up and down if you bend over to pick something up, tilt your head back or something like that?

Viktoria Nemeth not at all. Magically stays in. I guess the wire is flexible so it moulds to your head. Once you push it down it's in. I've shook my head around to test it too!

Im Pretty sure you can dye them but not bleach them. I would double check the website to be sure though!

ive always wondered how just one extensions is enuff? cuz in clips ins u need layer after layer. n but this one is just pop one in. does it look as natural n blend in well tho?

Lilly Goq the way it lays it just blends! My hair is quite fine though. For people with very thick hair maybe clips will be better!

I know you're not a hair person, but does anyone know if these can be bleached and then dyed? I'd like to get them to match my natural color but then put some color in the ends and my hair is quite dark. Thoughts?

HeavyMetalJess you should check the website for some more details but I think bleaching would ruin them. Best to get lighter color then add dye to it rather than bleaching!

They can be colored darker but not lighter. Per my hairdresser who owns one and wears it all the time.

Hidden Crown sends extra wire in the extensions bag, so you can rewire a couple of times. Whether it be for sizing incorrectly or a wire snapping! They are such an awesome brand :)

You said that you shouldn't get a length over double your hair length. I have a pixie cut with shaved sides but would kill for long hair that won't ruin what I already have (thin hair represent). Do you think I could still use these extensions at their given length or even if I cut them shorter?

trying2hard2becool I think unfortunately till your hair grows out a little that you would see the extensions. Or you could wear them with a beanie or hat!

I've seen a video where a lady with a pixie used a 20 inch halo with a hair topper. But the topper alone is about $450 so would be super expensive, but it looked amazing!

You should not use heat protectant spray on halo extensions hun. It’s been advised not to pretty much on all the descriptions and care for halo extensions.

Great video however would have been nice to actually see the hair ... you’re wearing black then on tops of that your halo is black. Can’t really make any thing out.
