YES, you are right. It is JUNIOR Tyagi pretended to be SENIOR. The senior dies. In that shot, if you observe carefully, the hand with the RING (for both) was hidden. When the grandpa Tyagi asked, JUNIOR lied that he is SENIOR. Also, there is a possibility that Munna isn't dead either. It is not confirmed but it is possible that Munna had dextrocardia. Lets see what happens in Mirzapur 3.

Here's a theory for S3. Munna isn't dead , in the end , you can see munna pointing Golu's gun on the left side of his chest , to which Golu and Guddu thinks , he's pointing at his heart. But Munna has dextrocardia, and his heart is on the right side of his chest. Also , in the first episode if you remember, guddu pushed down Munna's car , and while doing that , Guddu had perfectly fit legs and he came with big entourage of cars and men , which he didn't have until the end of this season, and the only way he had those is after he got mirzapur , meaning the first scene of this season is from the next season. And if anyone is confused with the next scene where munna is admitted, that scene is after Shabnam's marriage bloodshed , where Lala's men shot Munna and he got injured. And if you've observed, Munna keeps saying "I'm immortal" , this is because of his dextrocardiac condition. Because his every enemy will try to shoot him in his heart , and every enemy will miss his heart.

Munna is not dead. There can be no mirzapur minus munna. His heart is on the right not left. Dextrocardia. So he moves the gun to the left during the last bullet scene.

Bcoz kalin need someone who can run mirzapur. Munna is no more. Thats why shard save kalin.
