i love it so much, there are a few times where they mess up lines, but they cover it well. they obviously didn't have a ton of rehearsal time. but it's just broadway people laughing with them. they're all having a good time, they don't mind mistakes, that makes it lovely and human.

Uh.... I was more surprised by HOW prepared they were, considering the time likely spent on this wasn't much.

Jeremy also forgot the next move at 5:57 but it wasn't that obvious :))) Plus Christopher and Sir Walter mixed up the chairs in the end. hahahaha

lillmango I blame the director - dont make complicated lighting on a project like this that has little rehearsal in space with techs.

Artdefines it’s not complicated. Just spotlights when the actor is singing. Not hard.

It's not "just spotlights on the actors when they're singing.". It's balancing all the intelligent lighting they're working with. It looks like there are anywhere from 6-12 movers. They've obviously pre-programmed the positions and some looks, but if they had it completely programmed off of one tempo and it changed, then there's not a lot they can do. If they're running it live and only have watched the performance once then all in all, it could have been worse. Things like this, you have to really know backwards and forwards to get it right. Additionally, it could have been an issue with how the stage manager calling the transitions made those calls. It seems like they were aiming for it to look like the regular number does on stage and the limitations of time didn't allow them to get perfection on it.

@@marlinotalvaro7431 I doubt he speaks it. His pronunciation was way too rough and exaggerated for that (it took me months to realise he was speaking Hungarian and that's my first language) But he still did a pretty great job since Hungarian is one hell of a hard language
