As a child in rural Jamaica, Santa Cruz,.this was back in the 70's, I remember Rasta elders telling me of cosmic energies, Ital living and the importance of respecting all life. i vaguely remember them also speaking of 7 points of energy and the importance of being still (meditation) and controlling ones breathe. very deep for a young kid to grasp but that wisdom has come forward today into my being, love Love Rasta and Rasta spirit. In Amharigna (Amharic) the native Ethiopian language of the Emperor, Ras Tafari in fact does not mean the head creator. This is wrong. Yes Ras does mean Head & it is derived from the Hebrew Rosh which also means Head. But Tafari (Teferi) does not mean creator!!!!! Tafari means without fear or fearless one!!!!!! Creator in Amharic is Fetari (ፈጣሪ) ~ creator /fäT'ari/. So in truth to say Ras Tafari you are actually saying the Head fearless one, you are not really saying the Head creator, you just think that is what you are saying!!!!!!
