Ah, since this was the very first lap with our pretty heavy camera setup, Adrian asked Nathan to stay outside to make sure it does not fall off. Few days later, Nige crashed the Pinderwagen with our camera in it and now we're sure it can handle anything😅

@@kw2519 Maybe not, but at the very least you know where the track goes. :D And after watching enough video laps, I feel like one can have a reasonable idea of the various bumps and dips and weight shift points. It's on my list too. :)

@@M3rVsT4H I promise you it doesn't (unless you have raced),the real thing is a whole different ball game. If you aren't used to lots of high speed traffic in close proximity,especially cars (all my laps have been on bikes) the first few laps are real eye openers ,in a good way.

This is the PERFECT track car. Didn’t cheap out on anything. You’d never need more than this for the ring in my humble opinion.

@@ptlg138 Airbags are much too heavy for track cars and can degrade performance. Well-made rollcages can keep the cars structure from caving to the driver alongside fire suppression and harnesses, also most track cars in professional series use a HANS Device to keep the drivers head still during a high G crash which essentially acts like a airbag but is much lighter and simpler.

...with an S54 engine (E46). It begs the question: is the car model identifier defined by the body/chassis or by the powertrain? Gt2 traction out of the corners is insane. M3 sounds awesome and gives amazing corner entry speed, just need to dog leg the gearlever to put it in to a better position and its the ideal ring killer ❤👍👍👍

..im just at first section and immediately I'm seeing the RS missing some lines and apexes. The proof again when you have a zillion HP and missing some lines on track, the HP's are instantly "gone" and just an "M3" is there again. and again. and again. lol love this

The traffic fell badly for the Porsche to be fair of you wouldn't have seen it for long. Good sensible driving by both drivers not to take silly risks around the other cars. 😁

The traffic fell badly? There were plenty of free traffic corners were the Porsche driver didn’t have the balls to push but only benefited from the straight line speed advantage.

@@comparecards5688 P car driver clearly not pushing the corners near as hard - early braking. Better car but either driver skill not there or just simply didn’t wish to take chances with the car. Either way a great drive by both!

This is why cars like the gt2rs or gt3rs don't interest me. For a track car I find it so much more interesting to work on your own car and setup starting with a relatively cheap base car. It's just a more fulfilling experience overall as well as being cheaper. Also both are road legal and modern Porsche Rs cars are so stiff and track specific they're no longer enjoyable useable road cars.

This E36 is far more stiff than a GT2/3 haha. Also, modern 911 is far softer than a 996 for example.

@@mgcharoudin a modern gt3 is not more compliant than a 996 gt3, l've been in both but tbf it's only the 992 that's too stiff in my opinion. I'm also from the uk where the roads are terrible so could be why I think that.
