Jesus! This was one of the most intense drives you have done in many videos according to myself. I had freaking high pulse the whole lap and am amazed at this golf. It seems so perfectly tuned and has tons of nice power in all the stretches and corners wow. Superb fun video!!

Inspirational video. I own and track a similar Mk7. 320whp/390wtq on 93-octane (stock IS20 turbo): 3150lb curb, full interior, lightweight wheels, premium options and LSD. Lots of suspension and chassis calibration. The 3rd gen EA888 is a masterpiece! 🙌 These cars throat punch way above their “weight class”. 🏎️ Misha shows what this platform can do on track with only minor mods. Passenger’s facial expressions and reactions tell a great narrative! 😆 ❤️ 🇩🇪 Thank you for all you do, Misha. Please keep the VW MQB content coming! 🍻

Re suspension: Assuming it's legal in the owner's country, Koni special active dampers pair quite nicely with the eibach springs. On my MK7.5 it rides very well (in most scenarios better than stock), not my "daily" but it saw ~10k miles last year so it is used often enough that comfort matters! If you are able to add camber plates (I have the 034 camster/caster plates) you'll have a weapon on your hands! Great vid as always, makes me even more excited to get on track this season with my GTI!

Comfort is relative, what one can find comfortable, another can't. To me the KONI SPORT + violet springs VOGHTLAND -7Cms has been the best I have worn in 25 years, now I wear BILSTEIN B6 and they are nothing special.
