In answer to the UK comments about MOT and taxing. Misha is completely right in saying that you can get away with it in the UK. Personally, all the cars I've had were always taxed, MOT'd (TUV) approved, and insured. However, every modification you do to your car "needs" to be told to your insurance company, obviously you can choose not to do that and run the risk of getting into an accident and not getting a payout whether it's your fault or not. You can run a decat system in your car and never be found unless a police car pulls you over and runs an emissions test, which I've never heard of happening but it's possible or VOSA which is a special unit that makes sure that cars are roadworthy. Running decat isn't illegal in the UK but if your emissions are higher than what the manufacturer states, then you will not pass MOT.

In UK if we don't tax car, we get automatic fine after I think it's 2 weeks unless we declare it off the road bud, people can try and drive with no insurance but anpr will eventually catch them, the subaru gc8 did come as wrx, I had wrx sti ra v Ltd I think it was 198 of 555 if I remember loved it.
