@@christiangwenner6384 I wouldn't call it reckless. Its aggressive though most definitely. Only true racers would understand. Thing is, when one is in a seemingly 'slow' car, they tend to push more because they know the upper limits can be tamed. When one is in a seemingly 'fast' car, they tend to exercise restraint knowing well that there is still room for the upper limits and they car can go really fast thus easy to lose control. I have a stock swift, 1.2l. I usually see guys with BMWs slow down at corners while am pedals to the metal in there wondering why the guy in front is so slow in such a beast of a machine. One day I got to handle beast and then I understood. Needless to say, the slow cars teach one efficiency and technique in handling while the super fast cars teach one discipline and restraint. The wisdom of these two mentalities in a very experienced driver is a hidden gem. It is the secret of very great drivers out there. An F1 driver once talked about it by the way can't remember his name. He did go carts in his youth. Taught him a lot.

Thanks for posting this as promised! I was very much looking forward to it as this is as close as it gets to a professional driving a Mazdaspeed3 around the Ring! This was one of my dreams to do in the 2013 I had before I sold it. They're great little hot hatches even in stock form!

I think Ford still uses this 2.3 turbo.

I owned one of these when they first released. Was an animal as stock, ate tyres real quick. Needed good tyres and some suspension tweaks to improve grip. A better diff would have helped a lot.

Some really sick driving skills! I really need to get out and practice more. I'd be happy if one day I can do 1/2 as well as Misha.

that thing needs a good set of brake pads and a newer gen bb turbo from CN so it becomes a true weapon, well driven Misha!

It has lsd from factory. Its not open diff. And his bigger spoolee boy as you said is not putting out much more than the stock one! I have made 300whp on stock k04!
@EvoBeard9 ай бұрын
Yeah I'm at 322hp on the stock K04 and although it loses top end grunt compared to an aftermarket larger turbo (CS/BNR/Garrett), it spools nice and keeps the powerband where you want it for these. I still have the stock DP on mine, so high-flow Cat and a larger intake were on my list to get to 340 or so on the K04, but I'll probably go hybrid turbo. I was surprised this one was 320 with a bigger turbo and DP, usually you see 350-370hp+ with stock fuelling and a larger turbo/DP setup.

The little Mazda 3 is hooked up. Of course Misha makes up for the lack of horsepower. The Porsche driver must have been, how do I not shake this guy behind me? Loved it.
