Quick title explanation for those who skip the intro: I was gone on holiday and work for 1.5 week and this was the first ever lap after not driving the track or anything fast for that period. It was a bit rusty. Second lap would have been better, but the brakes were done after the first one. No worries, there is another "fresh" GT350R video coming.

The GT350R just sounds so incredible.

Right around 6250rpm, it starts to sound absolutely magical! What a car

There’s also a resonator delete, stiffer suspension, comes with michilen pilot sport cup 2 tires, bigger front splitter and sits lower in addition to the carbon fiber wing and wheels. Those are the differences to the gt350 and R models. Only the Mach 1 and the newer gt s550 performance packs come with rev matching.

The sounds of these things are just unreal

I’m mostly impressed that the temperature gauge stayed completely cool the whole time! That’s AWESOME!

What a sound! Even at 3000rpm it sounds absolutely insane, noise that turbo BMWs etc. can hardly match. My favourite US car together with Viper ACR and C8 Z06. Such a special thing, although it's "just" a Mustang.

I think this is my favorite v8 sound of any production car.

The owner / passenger must be a solider or something this guy was cool as a the other side of the pillow the whole lap😂. I also think that being converted to a mustang fan too this lap was great !!

This is by far the BEST mustang ever created! Never been much of a Mustang guy, but these GT350R is a dreamcar of mine!

What a vehicle. Love watching you drive mustangs and Camaros and showing off what we Americans have to offer now. Doesn’t overheat, brakes don’t get torched and overheated, over 500 HP, a killer manual transmission, sounds great, and it’s under 60K USD for one You would never see something from Germany with that level of performance for that price point hands down.

I love the way Misha gives his opinion on the cars he takes out. As a Holden/HSV/GM man i absolutely love these Mustangs!

It's always interesting to see how much smoother you are at the end of the lap compared to the beginning. Must be tough to constantly jump between totally different cars.

Your heal toe is PHENOMENAL! This this the definition of heal toe and stellar demonstration of true heal toe work.

Can’t beat the sound of a high reving v8. That is why I like these mustangs, but also the e92 m3. These cars are dream cars.

This looks like a GREAT drive - balance, rotation, grip, damping / compliance, the engine, gearing, the pedalry.. (& lmao @ the owner yanking the handbrake so hard that jacked Misha has to (or at least opts to) use two arms to release it 😆)

Beside supercars, there are only few V8s that rev over 8k. Rare and awesome!

Owner said pads were aftermarket for less dust. In my experience the less dusty pads also have less performance (but are nice for keeping wheels clean).

Actually really like the gear length in this perfect length just long enough to reach next corner. Great lap. Brakes and suspension and you're sorted

The Cup 2s that come with the car (which are a compound that's in between regular Cup 2s and Cup 2Rs) I think would really make a big difference in terms of feel (having owned one myself)

it amazes me how many people in america dont understand left foot braking, seeing it used here it is a very good way of keeping consistent pressure on the car while accelerating through the corner. but everybody i mention it to here, even "car guys" believe its an awful habit and view it as a novice mistake, even when intentional.

You should see if you can do a lap in either a ZL1 Camaro, or a Z/28

If you enjoy these you should check out the upcoming release of the Mustang GTD which is being released in limited numbers end 24 earlier 25 with Ford talking it up as the fastest road legal Mustang yet. Developed in tandem with the GT3 which will be raced at Le Mans this year, the GTD will have active aerodynamics, big tyres and semi-active race tuned suspension, as well as a dual-clutch gearbox and carbon-ceramic brakes. Then there’s the engine, a massive 5.2-litre V8 petrol unit with a supercharger and will rev to 7,500rpm and is expected to produce around 800bhp, all rapped around by carbon fibre panels. Although the GTD is road-legal, Ford still claims it's a track car at heart, designed to lap tracks faster than the race cars it's based on. Worth looking into Misha, quite incredible, and I pray one makes it’s way to the Nurburgring with you behind the wheel one day 👍

This is the Ferrari F40 of Mustang. The manual gearbox mixed with a Flat plane crank engine in a chassis thats genuinely sorted.

Weird how he scans the brake pedal with his left foot...I scan it with the right leg...but I can see how it's faster with left foot vs right nice little teaching moment..most people's problem with using both like that they ride the brakes...but I notice how he turns his foot sideways while scanning the brake...love manuals...I have a 500hp GT with the 6 speed manual...lowered coil overs and sport cup 4s on rear and 2s on front...awesome video...btw love the respect on the track...
