The goated deck

Ironically, the best hand traps would just be okay in goat. Nib would literally be useless bc even reasoning gate has a hard time summoning that much and the token would present just as big of a problem, shifter would be even worse since even if decks are GY reliant, they take many turns to set up their GY and every deck can afford to not set it up for a turn. Droll is bad. Most decks only search or draw once every turn or even less. ash would just be okay; most goat cards are just one for ones. Ashing a dekoichi would just feel terrible and most of the time ashing would neg you. The only cards that would be super strong to ash are pot of greed and graceful which are both sacky unsearchable one ofs. I guess ashing a Sangan would be nice but you’re still minusing yourself. Rota would also be a good card to negate. Gamma might be pretty good just because it destroys the card it negates. The bodies summoning themselves would rarely come up since you’d only really be using them on your opponents turn, and having to have an empty board would make them turned off more often than not, or they’re worse because youre not exerting pressure. Ogre would be pretty solid for the same reason. Often times the spot removal would be better than a negation, to stop tsuk from reusing flips, pop TER, etc. The bystials would clearly be broken. Summoning massive beaters that easily would already be OP, most decks use chaos cards so the fact it can dd crow those AND gain advantage would just be so dumb. Speaking of DD crow, that would likely be a staple. Banishing the opponents magician of faith recycle or sinister serpent would allow it to be a versatile threat good against most decks. Veiler would likely be really good too for stopping flips, TER, or any power monster trying to make a push. In that vein, imperm would be a staple three of in any deck, and the negating a s/t in the same column would come up pretty often as well. Would be interesting.
