Miss America 2016, the 89th Miss America pageant, was held at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Kira Kazantsev of New York crowned successor, Betty Cantrell of Georgia at the end of the event. It was broadcast on ABC and streamed to mobile devices and Xbox 360 consoles via the WatchABC app.

Gretchen Carlson and Regina Hopper destroyed this once great pageant with their search and destroy mission. They will not be forgiven by those of us who worked tirelessly to insure that the Miss America Pageant remain genuine to the rich tradition.

I believe she was the first georgia native to win a beauty pageant. 1 miss georgia won in the 50s but she was a Florida native. Georgia has never win miss usa or miss teen usa about time.

Aside from being run by two different organizations, Miss USA doesn't have a talent competition. Additionally, Miss America doesn't compete at the international level like Miss USA does at Miss Universe

Her name is actually Baciliky Andris "Betty" Cantrell. She's called Betty for short.

A need of CHANGE,let the woman PICK the questions them self. From 5,10,15,20 and 25 points from a screen. Like a 5 point question would be,name 3 common colors of a bunny rabbit. Some women got it and some don't,plus some people don't well under a crowd. You need to wake up and smell the coffee. I can only watch 30 second of the show.
