Dion posted a video on her Facebook explaining her side of the story: As she was leaving the stage Sasha made a comment about how Dion needs to learn how to act right. Basically thought Dion was acting like a sore loser. So Dion acted like she didn't hear her and asked her to say it again and Sasha did so Dion slapped her.

Dione Summers slapped Sasha Lauren! To think Dione won 2023 this past year! She should have been permanently banned from ever competing for Miss Texas again! Then she wasn't allowed to do her step down for 2024 because she's violent once again! She would have hit me and she would have got a kick to the chest right off that stage!
