Adding to the warning that yeon jin had to stay away from ppl with Os in their name, guess who else had them. None other than her mom. She had 5 Os in her full name and she was the one who betrayed her daughter the most to save her skin.

One of the prettiest things is how she got a tattoo of the devil's trumpet or datura on her scars. That attention to detail was just... beautiful.

Glory is GLORIOUS! This drama deserves all the awards they can get! Every character has my favorite, every-hair-on-my-body-is-standing scenes where i was slow clapping. OUTSTANDING!Bravo! Acting,Writing, Directing, over all...1000%!!!! Perfection!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

at the end of the series we also see that dong eun gets the devil's trumpet tattooed on her arm which is like a reminder of her revenge.

I truly hope SHK wins best actress for this one; she nailed it. And Lee Dong Hyun is the perfect remedy to this drama. I admire their chemistry; it is natural and incredible.

There's also a scene where Ha Do-Yeong realizes that most brands in their closet are from Jeon Jae-Joon's brand and it shows how many bags are in the closet is equivalent how many times Lim Ji-yeon cheated on him. 1 bag = 1 sex

The Green shoes actually do hide a second meaning to those who understand Chinese as well (not sure if there is this saying in Korean culture too) Most of the time Chinese couples avoid gifting anything Green to their lovers as 被綠 （having green, literal translation) means being CHEATED upon. So Do-Young actually alao foreshadowed YeonJins disloyalty towards their marriage!

It was an excellent drama, so sad that the bullying was based off of someone’s real experience, that was horrifying to know. The script writing, the acting it all combined so well and the ending was perfect.

There's also a subtle allegory regarding an expensive wine. Ha Do Yeong gave his driver an expensive wine and since its a driver who wasn't accustomed drinking such a wine, he advised him to buy some cheese and a cheap wine. Drink the cheap wine first, eat some cheese and then taste the expensive wine and he'll know the difference. Well, that actually happened when he met Dong-Eun when he played Go with her. He noticed the difference between Yeon-Jin (cheap) and Dong-Eun (expensive).

The Glory is one of, if not THE BEST, kdramas/shows I’ve ever seen! It even ended perfectly! I’m going to end up watching it multiple times while hoping to buy it on dvd.

Adding to the food things. She would mainly be seen eating kimbap which is usually served at a room temp. Also I believe the dish she made for Yoojeong in his house was Naengmyeon which is a cold noodle.

So refreshing to see Song Hye Kyo in a character she never played before. She did an amazing job. So did the rest of the cast. I’m going to watch it again, slowly this time. 😍

Something else you may not have noticed is Kyung Ran always spoke to The Bullies in banmal, i.e. impolite speech. I always thought that was weird. Especially as an employee, and before their relationship was revealed, it was very odd she never spoke in honorifics. By the end of the show, it all made sense, because they knew each other from before.

Ther's so much to love about the drama, but I couldnt control the tears in the scene where the landlord said "Let's die when spring comes". what a powerful moment! though Dong-eun sufferred so much becasue of the bad adults in her life, few good ones gave her moments of hope

I've watch a lot of kdramas during the past couple years, this drama is my #1 favorite I don't think any will top it now, this shows incredible

With the name theory - I thought that the more O's they had in their names, the more they would betray Yeonjin/the more it would hurt her. Her own mother had the most 'O's, and we saw that she was extremely broken because of that. Even her own daughter has an 'O' in her name. I have compiled a list of people with O's in their names, and we can see how they are involved with her. Another comment said that the o from ㅎ doesn't count, but visually, let's count that too shall we? This is my list of people, in order, who had betrayed/hurt Yeonjin the most, in my opinion. **CONTAINS SPOILERS** 1. Hong Young Ae 홍영애 - Yeonjin's mother, who enabled her bad behaviour and attitude, covered up her crimes for her. The ultimate betrayal. 4 O's, 5 including the O from ㅎ 2. Ha Do Young 하도영 - Yeonjin's husband, who leaves her after discovering her infidelity and crimes. 2 O's (3 including the O from ㅎ) 3. Moon Dong Eun 문동은 - Yeonjin's #2 (known) bully victim, who plots to take revenge. 2 O's 4. Ju Yeo Jung 주여정 - Plastic Surgeon, Dongeun's ally, who helps frame her for Myeong-Oh's murder. 2 O's 5. Son Myeong Oh 손명오 - Yeonjin's #2 murder victim. 2 O's 6. Kang Hyun Nam 강현남 - Yeonjin's ex-housekeeper, who worked for Dongeun, which is a problem for Yeonjin. 1 O, 2 including the O from ㅎ 7. Shin Young Joon 신영준 - The corrupt policeman, helped cover her involvement in So-hee's murder 18 years ago, and Myeong-oh's murder. 2 O's 8. Choi Hye Jeong 최혜정 - Yeonjin's friend, secretly hates Yeonjin to death. Only 1 O (2 including the O from ㅎ) assisted in Yeonjin's downfall. 9. Ha Yesol 하예솔 - Yeonjin's daughter, who turns on her after discovering her past. Only 1 O (2 including the O from ㅎ) but is one of Yeonjin's biggest pain. 10. Yoon So-hee 윤소희 - Yeonjin's #1 (known) bully victim and #1 murder victim. Only 1 O (2 including the O from ㅎ) but is one of Yeonjin's darkest secrets. 11. Kim Kyung Ran 김경란 - Yeonjin's last (known) bully victim and assistant, who provides Dongeun with a piece of crucial evidence in Son Myeong-Oh's murder case. 1 O, but I consider her an important point to the downfall of Yeonjin.

Another incredible aspect about the meat grilling scene in the mechanic garage was that they were grilling pork. A burn skin or a burnt body smells a lot like pork. This scene connects her to the past by the smell and the sound!

The show deserves an Emmy and/or a Golden Globe…It is Netflix affiliated…

I specially loved the fact that how the game go was used as a base for her revenge . Silently plotting her way through . It was foreshadowed too in the beginning when she was learning it *I love it * she said ❤️

The lighter that was left at the scene that had Yeonjin’s DNA: also fire related. YJ burned herself in the end. Do-Yeong is calmed by the sizzle of vitamin C, Dongeun is triggered by sizzling meat. But Dongeun will find that new sizzle calming.

As farfetched and impossible as it is, I somehow hoped that FL would end up with Ha Do-Yeong. There was a chemistry between them. I really hope they have a season 3. Will definitely watch it again.

Do-young's flower was an unopened Devil's Trumpet. He didn't turn against Dong Eun and it's only through Dong Eun that he would know where Jae Jun wound up at in the end. Do-young had to think about how to save his daughter more than help Dong Eun get her revenge and in the end this was fitting for Dong Eun's revenge. Jae Jun's 'accident' was too coincidental. So either Jae Jun was led to the place by Dong Eun or by Do young. But...spoiler.... Blinding Jae Jun was definitely Dong Eun's plan.

One of the best kdramas and projects of Song Hye-kyo and she slayed it. I’ve ever seen..all the cast are so good as well. Congrats Team The Glory, u all did good job! 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉

The Glory is one of the best kdrama that I have watched in a while. I've seen good ones, but The Glory has surpassed it.

The ending would have been so much more meaningful if she had ended up taking her enemy's man and daughter too.

Regarding her trauma to sizzling. I actually got confused in there for a bit. I mean, in one episode, she was having a breakdown after hearing the sizzle of food cooking and in one scene, she was listening to the sizzle of the medication in the water with Yeo-Jeong. I mean, for me, the sound the same. However, it was mentioned here that she probably smell the food too together with the sizzle, hence she has a breakdown. If so, it should also be triggered when she ate at a teokbokki shop with Myeong-Oh when they eat out. In the end, I just accepted it as it is. I guess?

Yeon Jin's husband - Ha doyoung 하도영 has "o" in his name. Hong Young-ae 홍영애 (Park Young Jin's mom) has many "o" in her name. She is eventually also betraying her own daughter - matching the shaman prediction. Ps. Someone revealing this in one of the many Glory youtuber reviews I saw 😮 I haven't re-watch the series so not sure in which episode they showed Yoen-jin's mom hangul name.

These people put so much effort in the (very obvious) details of this show for their own glory, but no effort into getting the victims' permissions to use their tragedies for profit.

I think Season 3 is most likely not to be happen unless the writer brings different twist of plotting revenge on Kang Yeong Cheon(Dr Joo's killer) or twist between Dong eun and the bully group ( Yeon jin, Myeong oh, Sara, Hye Jeong, Jae Joon) The war between them might not over yet as none of the bullies character died except for Myeong oh and as for Jae Joon who pushed off from building by Do yeong and fell into the concrete, he had 50/50 chance to be alive and came back to fight with Do yeong to get back his daughter Ye sol and also Yeonjin and Sara might come out from jail and fight back to Dong eun and new antagonist characters are likely to be added. And let's say if the Dong eun revenge on her bullies was over then Yeo Jeong revenge will be only 2/3 episode on season 3 unless they brings twist on his father's killer characters as they already done plotting revenge on Dr joo killer in Season 2. So if Season 3 is going to happen then I hope the writer doesn't rush and take times to write the plots and characters.

It took me to about episode 6 to really tell who's who, and the names are challenging. Not to Koreans obviously but I find the names really confusing so I wish the dubbed version gage them names I could distinguish

Wait, am I the only one who noticed that the Victims/Revengers were driving Korean cars and the Bullies/Bad guys were driving German cars?

What about the Girl who died is the one from Single's Inferno 2....

Sigh.... There are two details that keep getting lost in translation in all these videos of the Glory I watch. 1. The fact that Yeon Jin's mother warned her to stay away from people with 'O's in their name. It's not true! The correct translation is people with 'ng' in their name, not 'o'. This is especially important because apart from Dong Eun, nobody else really has 'o' in their name when spelt in Korean. When we understand this, it's clearer because all the people around her with 'ng' in their name betrayed her: Dong Eun, Yeo Jeong, Hye Jeong, Myeong Oh, Gyeong Ran, Do Yeong (by leaving her), Hong Yeong Ae (her mother) and Shin Yeong Joon (the police officer that covered her crime). 2. The poster of Do Yeong with the Devil's Trumpet facing down is not interpreted correctly. Notice that those with the Devil's Trumpet commit a crime and walk free, are allied with Dong Eun and are facing an emotional trauma. The true interpretation of Do Yeong's poster is that although he is not her ally, he faced an emotional trauma (his wife cheated on him), he ends up assisting Dong Eun's plans unintentionally (by killing Jae Joon) and walks free.

PLEASE can someone explain how/when Ha Do Young betrays Moon Dong Eun?? I missed that part and am very confused...

I so wanted her to end up with Ha Do-yeong.
