Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family as an unknown who many people gave the benefit of the doubt to. Time after time, from media to royal watchers and beyond, people excused her various blunders. People were understanding to the culture and country change, the massive shift in expectations she was faced with, and the challenges that come with it. However, the Meg unceremoniously threw all those excuses made for her right back in the public's collective face. Today's video reviews 10 excuses we have given the Meg that she no longer deserves.

Same here-a lot of her behaviour is so familiar to the behavioir of the narcissist in my life (well, no longer in my life). The mask slips are scary-its the only time her true personality comes out. The longer she is in the public eye, the more she is likely to slip up and not be able to continue the charade and maintain her public persona.

@@camillegorski8094 true, but as the RF has shown prior to MM, he could be managed, supported and directed to showcase the best parts of his personality and lessen those less appealing aspects. What M did was to find those less appealing aspects and highlight and encourage him to focus on those negatives rather than the positives. Yes he did already have those personality traits but she was the one who bought them all to the fore. A different wife might have built on his positive traits and encouraged him to be a better person. We can all change, but only if we want to.

Harry killed a pregnant mare named Drizzle and her unborn foal in 2010. He was told not to ride her at a polo charity event, but he didn’t listen. He rode her until she had a heart attack and died, thus also killing her poor baby. That was long before MM. Harry has always been an entitled, vile piece of FILTH that the RF covered for. I can list a TON of things Harry did all on his own way before he knew Meghan’s name. Use ur critical thinking skills and do some research.

Well, she's certainly claimed that it was a culture clash, and that Brits weren't used to American behaviour. I don't know a single Brit who believed it, though. In the 7yrs she's been around I have never heard anyone bring her race or her nationality into their criticisms of her because they aren't relevant. Her appalling behaviour has nothing to do with where she comes from or the colour of her skin - it's just who she is.

I'm a Brit and the British press was very pro-Meg until the lies started..... Easily disprovable lies. Brits were happy to see Harry settled after his 'wild' years, we liked that Meghan was different from the blonde, pale milk-sops he had previously preferred and we found her 'interesting', if somewhat profligate. We brushed off her minor breaches of protocol and laughed at some of her attention-seeking. She IS American, after all. We were baffled about her family issues but.....she IS American, after all. Then she lied.....and the bubble was burst. At the time of Archie's birth, a well-known Royal commentator in the UK said, "On good authority....." that Meg had tried to negotiate a multi-million dollar deal with a well-known but unnamed magazine for labour and baby pics. She was, allegedly, told very sharply by the Palace officials that such a deal would absolutely NOT be happening and the subterfuge around the delivery was in direct retaliation to the Palace's 'interference' in her plans. It was also, allegedly, why Archie's face was deliberately obscured in the photos of the families with the baby. It would also reinforce the widely-held belief that she had planned Mexit right from the start and the extra money such a deal would have given them would have been very useful when, as they knew would happen, their money from the monarch via the Privy Purse would be stopped. Add in her narcissism and controlling personality, her rejection of advice from the Queen, who asked Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, to work with her to understand protocol and find her feet, becomes understandable. After all, who can teach her anything???? Sophie was the PERFECT choice. As an outsider herself, her previous career in PR and her gentle and patient nature could have made her the best guide for Meghan but..... None of this explains the TERRIBLE style and clothing choices. Time after time after time..... Except.....she's Meghan and she doesn't need any advice.....

@@mb-kh2nb Don't act like what? We Brits saw MM as a "typical brash, self-obsessed American" fairly early on. But, as I said, she was accepted because she made H happy until the lies started. Not sure what you mean about "bad teeth" and the like; personally I find the 'one size fits all' Dulux brilliant white veneered smile of almost all Americans in the public eye to be false and artificial looking.

Her biggest blunder was the way she started out LYING, then continues to do so, when the Crown tried to offer her the standard manner’s sessions with palace experts, tried to offer her everything Catherine went thru, from kidnapping scenarios, to emergencies she scoffed, turned her nose up, said “No, I have Harry!” Then LIED that it was ever offered to her, she was so pushy, rude, constantly trying to run ahead, and usurp the order in which the Royals rank and walk, it was embarrassing! She targeted Catherine and Charlotte right away which is why William split their offices, then she was alone to intimidate and be rude to staff, Tiaragate got her and H on a demanding wrong foot, even AFTER THE QUEEN HERSELF LAUD DOWN THE LAW, they continued to try to intimidate Angela Kelly to bring the tiara out to the salon, when it wasn’t possible, Catherine even had her hairdo practiced with a plastic tiara! The 30 PROVEN LIES ON OPRAH! The fact she challenged the Queen that “she didn’t own the word “Royal” which in fact she did. She never stops her atrocious behavior, lies or answering to ANYONE about her terrible behavior. She’s the biggest most foul narcissist I have ever heard of. Oh, and the constant manhandling and pushing of H, it is so gross, it’s like watching someone with absolutely no manners!

Also being “Duchess Discount” as in keeping gifts that she knew was against protocol, the time she “lost” the Queen’s earrings, keeping the $1M blood diamond earrings even though she was ordered to return them, ignoring them Queen and Catherine’s warnings of “We don’t treat staff that way.” 😂 I’m personally offended by ALL THE BELTS UNDER HER BOOBS, does she not own a mirror, I can’t believe she continues to try to “make fetch happen” and wear these atrocious belted outfits!

She fully thought going in her plans for modernization of the Royalty would be welcomed and undertaken immediately. She'd live in a castle with full staff, like an old fashioned Disney queen, and get rid of " dull" customs she didn't understand. I do think she was offended narcissitically by no one wanting her new ideas. She could have used her energy, plans into a charity acceptable to the Firm. But nope if she isn't top banana she's out.

MM's supposed mental health issue. She chose her own OB/GYN. She (in my opinion) implied she didn't trust the doctors the RF used. If she trusted her doctor enough to choose them for her pregnancy (supposedly) why couldn't she go to them with her mental health issues? I mean, she was so strong in her decision to choose a doctor not associated with the RF, but was powerless to find someone to help her mental health? That story has never passed the sniff test, in my opinion.

I thought the same thing. The Surgeon-Gynecologist to the Royal Household not only oversees royal deliveries, he is the witness to those births, after the requirement to have a government official witness such births was abolished. MM not only decided not to use the S-G, she was was secretive about the whole affair, including not alerting the palace that she was in labor until after she gave birth. She stood up against the royal family in this, but caved when it came to seeking psychiatric care? It doesn't make any sense, especially since a number of royals, including her husband, had sought psychotherapy. Also, obstetricians in the UK are supposed to monitor an expectant mother's mental health on an ongoing basis, so what happened there? MM stated that tears were running down her face when she was watching the Cirque du Soleil. There were cameras inside the venue and one panned to where PH and MM were sitting during the performance. While PH looked miserable, MM was smiling, not her usual rictus but a very self satisfied grin.

Then during the interview they kept looking at each other to make sure they had their stories straight. Several times her jaw clenched which was odd if you were soooo in love. And the clincher was when Harry talked about the engagement ring he had made especially for her. She was acting like she loved the ring but her non-verbals screamed she thought it was too small. Meghan didn’t do her homework on Harry or the Royal Family. All she knew was the Queen was one of the richest women in UK. What that doesn’t tell you is that it includes properties, artwork, jewels, and other assets. The monetary valuation required to replace any of those items. The Queen didn’t have billions in cash. And in any event the main assets would pass to the King and then the Prince of Wales in the form of a trust. Second sons/daughters and others in the family have an allowance for working. They may receive an inheritance or a leased estate that you live in and pay rent. You would not own outright. Meghan really needed to land a billionaire not Harry. At most Harry would be worth 2-3M per annum with maybe 30M inheritance. Meghan’s ego needs someone with 250M or more where she can spend like water.

I’m in the US. Before their engagement I heard about the statement from Harry via the palace about the racism the Meg had been enduring from the media. Because I wasn’t over there I sadly believed it. Then after the engagement when we saw her sister coming out saying she never offered to help her or when her father was photographed getting fitted for a suit etc. I thought they were using it for their gain and attention. I fell for the love story between Prince Harry and a beautiful American actress who was mixed race. For the wedding I was sad for her that the only family member she was close to was her mom. I even felt sad for her in the South African tour when she was interviewed by Bradby! She tricked me with her upward pleading sad eyes. I even believed some things she said in the Oprah interview. I mean what person would question someone wanting to end their life! I didn’t even think to do my own research to see what Harry and the Meg said was true. A year after that interview I watched the Body Language Panel on it and was surprised at some of the things her body language revealed! I then saw a video on her “mask slips” and the rest is history! Narcissism thy name is Meghan!

🎉I too gave her benefit of the doubt at first. Not close to her family? Some families are much more toxic than others see from the outside. Racism in the RF? Micro aggressions can be hard to see if you are part of the dominant culture. I know, as a woman, men sometimes believe feminist hate all men and are unfairly crying sexism. Other men might not catch a sexist comment, when almost all women would. So maybe there was implicit racial bias in the RF. However, everything she has said and done since has convinced me she is the problem. And I see Harry as a Lindsey Graham. When is best friend was a principal Ed person, he seemed principled as well. I had my doubts when I saw the pose she struck in the white coat following the engagement announcement. Arching her back and sticking her butt out like that was suitable for "Deal or No Deal". Can you imagine Catherine posing like that? Like you, Beebs, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. But then, walking up the aisle and throughout the wedding, Meghan attempted to look innocent and radiant. Instead, her expression came off as phony and verging on a smirk. And there was her scary grimace at Princess Charlotte. Coming out of the church, Harry was gazing off into the middle distance but Meghan was looking straight at the camera, as she so often does. All of that confirmed my initial impression. Except for portraits and statements, I can't think of a time when Catherine or any other real royal looked straight into a camera. Your analysis is always so spot on that you would make an excellent psychoanalyst!

Meghan has never wanted to know or respect what being a royal meant. Even at the wedding. All the royal weddings that she has watched and watched again. It is custom for a royal taking their wedding vows, the first thing they were expected to do on their way out of the church, was to stop before the queen and bow/curtsy. Not Meghan! She just strolled right by her, never to acknowledge her or show anykind of respect for this family she had married into. Even though the queen was perplexed, she excused Meghan as not being accustomed to what was expected, the queen generously gave Meghan (and Harry) a pass for this oversight. In reality, it was just showing that Meghan had no intention to show anyone respect.

This is fun Beebs. Let's see, my 10 (or maybe fewer) "people don't understand" excuses for Meghan Markle (sincere ones): 1) "Harry told me the monarchy is stodgy and needs an update. He knows the public loves his little-boy mischief and that's why he's popular. He told me I could provide that with my experience!" 2) "I know how Hollywood works. I know how PR works. If the royal family had some of that, they would be so much better off. They throw away opportunity" 3) I have been on television and know how to do interviews. I don't need training from the royal family; I'm experienced." 4) I did the Tig that showed me doing charity work and classy lady things. I'm ready for this." 5) "I know how to handle people." Uh-oh Beebs, that's all I've got. But she wiped them all away with her Oprah interview, the Netflix show, the NY car chase, the description of her bow to the Queen. All wiped out when she showed how her lesser self was in fact leading all her thoughts and actions.

I originally thought Meghan might be having a hard time with the transition to royal life and duties, but after learning about her obsession with the family and Princess Diana, there was no way she couldn't have had some idea about how to behave. Then after hearing about how she bullied her staff, all respect for her was lost. She just wanted to be a royal with no responsibility- have the titles without doing work and she thinks she deserves special treatment. Too many lies and "exaggerations" = no more excuses.

I have to say I became fascinated by Meghan and Harry as I watched them lie and lie and disprespect them and play the victim. They have repeated that over and over again. Then they went to Nigeria and repeated the same pattern, disrespect making themselves victims and lies. So unutterably boring now.

Girl you are too kind and classy. Since I saw that engagement interview I knew she was trouble. Events like wearing white for her second nuptials, to walk in front of the late queen and taking her flowers!!! Even my husband told me since the beginning “ is she from California? There is dozen like her for a dollar bill” sound awful but he was right. A part of that is her behavior and choices, but Harry is no better and in this chaotic equation he is part of it, not a victim or error, he is part of it.

I've wondered if Harry complained to her about his royal woes and wanting to be free of his perceived royal 'restrictions' and she said to him or herself 'i can work with this, lets have some fun on your way out'. He was too stupid to realise what he'd be throwing away but she was his guide, to give him what he thought he wanted. Now he has to live with the real world consequences he didn't expect.

I am pretty sure there were people teaching her about royal traditions. She just didn't want to. Real royalty: Then Prince Charles taking her mother's arm and escorting her out of the wedding at the end. I'm not a royalist, which doesn't matter as I am not British, I know that Meghan could have learned at least the basics of how to behave correctly, never mind basic manners and morality.

There's only so many times you can excuse a particular behaviour. As an example, take the way she shoved her way in front of Harry or made sure she went before him. You can excuse this behaviour the first time you see it because she was new to the Firm and mistakes happen. You assume that Harry will guide her and tell her that such behaviour is a breach of protocol, and the protocol exists not only for the royal, but also out of respect for members of the public that the royals may be meeting at an event. It helps things go smoothly and if everyone knows what they're doing there are no slip-ups that could embarrass someone if they are caught on camera. When she continued to barge past Harry or to present herself first, it was pretty obvious that the behaviour wasn't a mistake but fully intentional. I've worked in situations that involve minor public figures, protocol, and dress etiquette, and I can say with 100% certainty that MM would never have been left to flounder. Prior to an event, her private secretary would have been sent a memo with full briefing about the event itself, the form of dress and where pertinent, other information such as colours to be worn or to be avoided. There isn't a shred of doubt in my mind that she knew what was expected of her at every turn, and she deliberately did something to either make herself stand out or to flout protocol because she was just plain oppositional. It really didn't take that long to see that Markle wasn't a nervous newbie. She knew full well what she was doing, and it just felt as if she had contempt for her role, for the monarchy, for the culture and definitely for the British people.

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards, who has worked with the RF for 40+ years, said that M never wanted to meet with the 'press pack' who followed her and H around on royals tours, etc, and get to know them. If she had, she could have had an entirely different and more friendly relationship with them, which would have helped any issues she had with the coverage she received. But she positively avoided getting to know them - Arthur said he made repeated requests to meet her which were ignored - and instead cultivated an adversarial relationship with them. Presumably therefore, this suited her agenda.

These excuses do not work. The problem is that she has no character (repeated silly lies) and lazy ( no tailoring or attention to detail.) She had opportunities that boggle the imagination and blew it and continues to blow it. Everyone thought she was special when in fact she is less than average…much less.

Whenever I get a notification from Beebs I stop what I am doing to watch. I too gave the Meg a pass when it was announced she was dating. When the engagement was announced I was so glad for both of them. My attitude started to change when things started being said about her actions. Her alleged bullying, making Katherine cry, wanting a specific tiara and then Harry saying “What Megan wants, Megan gets.” The Oprah interview, the incidents that she said happened that were proven to be lies. The stress she caused Her Majesty when Prince Philip was in hospital. I think she thought she could just change everything that she thought were so old fashioned.

She suddenly realized Catherine was always going to be above her, she would not be able to be Queen and dictate everything to her liking. And she was expected to show up do events and appearances and not be paid...That annoyed her.

My hunch has always been that contacting HR was more to “tattle” on the other employees who she didn’t like. I think she claimed it was affecting her mental health to HR in a bid to make those employee’s time under her even worse.

All while the other person chooses not to say anything first because they are just trying to deal with the awfulness happening to them, and still continue to be professional.

HR doest exist for the rf, its for the rf employees. Harry had his therapist on speed dial, but couldn't help her? Additionally she would have seen midwives and doctors every couple of weeks during her pregnancy. She's just a liar.

HR was for the staff . Why did she think family ‘issues’ were dealt with byHR . I think it’s more likely she thought she needed to leave an email trail as part of her leaving plot ,also she knew the staff were complaining about her and wanted get in first with her version.
