Miss Tonga humbled herself and opted to walk instead of going on a float as she felt uncomfortable sitting in a sheltered van while her supporters walked

+help me reach 1,000,000 plz plz I'm guessing that decision to walk was not hers, but her supporters and sponsors. Just because she's from Tonga doesn't mean she has put herself that low to represent her Island, and just because Tonga hosted the 2018 pageant.

+KylieLeon I agree, that that's humility. However her sponsors could've at least shown her a little appreciation or a least given a little in return by glamming up a float for her too on behalf of Tonga. This part of the pageant was a show case by the sponsors/supporters of going all out upbeat cheerful and colourful occasion and showing their support and putting her on display in the parade.
