The solution is to BRING BACK THE TELEVISED SCORES with the BREAKDOWN on which judge gave which score for TRANSPARENCY OR SELL THE MUO TO SOMEONE CREDIBLE

At 53 years old, I have been a devoted Miss Universe fan since my elementary school days, when I wholeheartedly believed in the organization's credibility and integrity. Now, I am truly disappointed.

I've tried to stay away from the pagent community the past few days and I haven't even watched the leaked video because I didn't wanna admit it but now I'm ready to admit that I am HEARTBROKEN. I cannot believe years of work Paula, Esther, Amy, and the rest of the MUO have put in to uphold the pageant's reputation and values to uplift and celebrate ALL women has come crashing down in a single leaked video. With a TRANS woman at the forefront of it all. It's absolutely disgusting. You would think her being part of one of the groups that have been given the chance to compete, she would say the exact opposite. Remember when she included Angela Ponce (the FIRST trans woman to compete at MU) on stage when she had her press conference (can’t remember) in Thailand with all the past MU queens during Harnaaz’s reign? She really tried to emphasise the importance of trans women at MU and here she is backstabbing not only fellow trans women who have gone through similar journeys and the daily struggle for inclusion as her, but women from other groups who have felt sidelined and like their dreams were ended because of their age and marital status. I REALLY tried to give her a chance with all these changes but she herself is an ATTENTION SEEKER who thinks just because she bought the pageant that she can walk about like she's the reigning queen, be the center of attention and do what she wants with the high quality women who compete at MU without consequences. IT'S ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I say the national orgs of MU should just come together and buy MUO and own it together lol idc what happens just GET THE CURRENT ORG OUT!!! The next edition is gonna be so filled with doubt and a lack of integrity that fans will proclaim RIGGED no matter who wins all because the pageant will still be owned by people who don't care about actually celebrating women but about money. It's like MGI but at least they're honest about what they're looking for. I can't believe this is what MU has come to, so so so heartbreaking. Get Anne and Raul OUT!!!

I as a pageant fan feel so betrayed and fool by the organization, I have defended pageants for so long, telling everyone that is a plataforma to showcase the power of femenity, to showcase a woman that inspires that brings to change and that is confident in her beauty. But is all a lie, all the inclusivity is performative and is not only lying to the fans but the contestant. I was put off with how toxic the fans are how much hate the can give to contestant because they don’t look a certain way, I was disgusted by how the saw miss universe and how they were unable to move on with the show. But is now that I realize that they saw through the facade all along, they were not fool by the marketing and by the inclusive language. I was, I as a fan feel betrayed, I can not longer support an organization that is corrupt and no longer relevant to the real world around us. and the real woman around us.

Yes, we all know there’s a lot going on since the company was bought by ambitious Anne, but I feel like she doesn’t know how to run a pageant. The leaked video isn’t fabricated as they claim; it serves as undeniable proof that her leadership is flawed, and all she wanted was to put on a show and make money. They concocted this inclusivity narrative, and it’s saddening to see that it’s all a facade for a profit-centered organization.

Just when MUPh started the pageantry year with a bang, with its quality assemblage of brains and beauty candidates, here comes a dampener-- that the hoped-for message of empowerment, inclusivity, diversity, authenticity and transparency is not a winning argument after all, but only the ability to get hordes of social media followers and consumers that matters. Never mind the brand messaging of "beautifully confident" and "transformational leadership". They are just words. What matters now is one's ability, from the organisers' view, to rake in money for the organisation? I pity all the outstanding candidates the Philippines is presenting-- on the false hope that each one of them embodies the ideals of an MU queen! It's disgusting if pageantry reduces the voiceless, disempowered, and marginalized women into "usurpers to the crown", with no hope at all ever getting the MU platform. Miss SA is the real Miss Universe. The reality show, production values, what the winner does for her country and the brand is solid. MU is a disgrace. We need to emphasis the purpose of National Pageants and what it means for women along with the commercial aspect of it. The only international pageant that has retained its core values is Miss world. Whether people call it boring... It's still a better and more honest show. Its unpredictable because it doesn't follow typical rules

They should look at MW right now. They are busy hosting the pageant and celebrating it in the grandest way possible. They should know how much MW does for society. Raising millions of dollars for poor people especially children. All the contestants right now are enjoying their journey competing in friendly manner and just having best times of their lives. MW cares a lot about their contestants and their titleholders. Even though MW has one titleholder for past 2 years. Karolina Bielawska. She did more social work than Rbonny and Harnaaz combined. The video was taken around October 2023. Months before MU happened. So now the validity of those inclusive girls who placed in the top 20 are now questionable. And because they admitted they just want more money, hype and business, one would also wonder if the placements and non placement of some countries were influenced by this meeting.
