I'm Black and these comments are misleading. As a Black person I know FULLY WELL that not everyone knows how to do my hair. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO MY HAIR. OR OTHER BLACK PPL FOR THAT MATTER. Bc it's different then "regular Black hair". It's wavy curly. So why TF would I go to a homogeneous country and act a fool bc some Korean lady can't do my hair. That shit does NOT happen. You're just using the angry Black woman stereotype to say we'd act out, when normally, we're actually THE MOST understanding. Thought you'd slip this covert racism through and nobody would notice? Eith your fake ass "omg I'm so happy she was understanding 😊, unlike most ppl." Gtfoh

In Korea, I wouldn't expect a racially homogenous country to know HOW to do a black woman's hair whereas in the USA, Canada, UK, or France, if you go to a salon, you would expect them to know how to do your hair (especially if there are advertisements with black women in them from the company). And often times, most of us just let the situation be as is without complaint. It's not about bitching over any little thing that doesn't go our way.

These people are so smart and hard working. I was stationed in South Korea when I was in the military. So smart. Just incredibly hardworking humble decent people. I’m Black. Visited their salons. No problems. They did a good job. They used a ruler to braid my hair. EVERY braid was perfectly aligned AND they were nice and professional. Nobody’s baby was crying in the back. Nobody was on the phone arguing with their boyfriend. The shop was not dirty. It was not over priced. They did not talk crap about every customer the moment the customer left. 10/10
