A full-fledged anime based on the canon story of Classic or the continuation of the Archie comic are the biggest missed opportunities. Edit: Also not porting Powered Up or Maverick Hunter X to the Switch is also a close second.

In MM3 Wily is crushed by a collapsing ceiling. In MM4 a new evil scientist is on the scene only to find out Wily recovered from, death? Missed opportunity to have a new villian recycle all the old tactics of the old villain.

justified that hate for Megaman 3... was my first game i've played ( and the one i've played the most) ,but i can understand that , MMII is quite of a easy game (the real challenge is hearing the music ) , MMV is nice,Wily needs to put more creativity :p , that bgm is cool (also wily sauce noises) , Burnerman has a sad history,but i like him. , 8's lore is a confusion...(nice explanations about the robots ) 11 feels short + i agree Proto and Bass could be add as DLC...nice work Crob

19:25 - My idea for the Boss Rush is that they could have a quick obstacle course before fighting the Robot Masters. Their patterns will be much different, keeping you on your toes and more challenging. It's a little worst in The X Series when you beat a boss, the explosions (Which are cool and all), but after trying tackle all 8 of them at once could take a while. I'd say make like at least a quicker large explosion and then your done. (I know it's about the Classic Series, but I just wanna mention this as well.)

I personally think the biggest waste besides animated cutscenes and further worldbuilding of Mega Man 11 Is I think it would be fun to have some robot master have more direct reoccurring robot masters or explaining in better detail of What happened to the enemy robot masters after Mega Man defeated them

my missed opportunities/thoughts on the list are: instead of fully charged(that felt like a mighty no. 9 cartoon that changed at the last second when it flopped.) we should've gotten a promotional anime for 11 as we really need another megaman anime. that's what i love about the archie comics in that they explain the levels being in space better(compared to just feeling like it was just earth outside a few levels,making protomans story fleshed out showing his really tragic story more(especially the ending hinting he may return to his family someday compared to being there.) and the doc robots being a combination of them in the same robot that wrecks dr. light's lab/leads to them being decommisioned instead of pointless filler(that could've given you their weapons as a bonus.) for boss rush would like if they had story to it like how in maverick hunter x they showed them without their integrated chips(basically souls for robots.) making them soulless husk quickly rebuilt that megaman could go into showing him saving their chips explaining his weapons,rebuilding them at games end. quint feels really wasted with how he's megaman from the future taken by wily(with archie comics showing his future self working together when we don't see him or if he became evil again.) and they leave it ambiguous what happened after he left as i highly doubt they'd let him be destroyed by his past self. took it that like shadow man wily found the stardroids/sunstar in ruins and reworked them to explain the wily elements. with how comical some of the ways dr. wily got his robots would love them showing that with how a surprising amount were just stolen by him(in 3 think they just go with them being wily's.). i love 8 as tbh my favorite game in the series outside the slide sections/dr. lights elmer fudd voice but noticing it with megaman in the 90's wish we saw more cutscenes(it's more implied the first few were being tested with it but the last ones were powering his fortress generator.) as i would've liked intro cutscenes for the robot masters like in x3. i love 11 but it was really safe(10 slightly felt more safe and personally find 9 the peak of the retro style.) as alongside more fortress stages it really could've used a few more playable characters like protoman,bass(who kinda feels there most of the time.) and especially roll with what it added.

I always have wondered, Whats going on with Needle Man Stage? Its suposed to be in space but there are a bunch of large buildings in the background, are those part of an alien civilization? Or humanity live in space in the MegaMan universe?

Well Mega Man X1 had boss rushes Mega Man 1 styled, maybe capcom learned something and will give us interesting boss rushes insead of capsule ro- GOSH DARN IT!

Ra Moon was not mention about being the sole creator of the stardroids, but you only can find this in archie comics.

The other poor design from mega man 8 is that the same 6 enemies repeat over and over in each stage. This wouldn't be a problem. If mega man wasn't about unique enemies in each stage.

IMO All NES games suffer from the same issues as 3 and are overrated World 2/2GB's best aspect *is* the music and it's better than the NES one in that Every classic game's story is either missed potential or nonexistent (11 being the latter)
