Till date Professionals use wired headphones and they do last longer than Wireless ones making less e-waste they are repairable for the most of the part (wired ones) Batteries of Earbuds are yet 99% impossible to change Be it headphone jack or SD card slots they were removed for money Headphone Jacks were removed to sell overpriced Bluetooth earphones that will die in a year And SD Card Slots were removed to force the user to buy the highest storage variant possible or to entirely get rid of the old phone and get a new one because of short of space

3.5 jack is awesome. Easily accessible in total darkness. Also, you can plug in your phone while the phone is being charged. As for bluetooth earcraps, I don't use them altogether.

should’ve tried to put the headphone jack above the notch, cause the display isn’t there. I know theres cameras and shit there but they could probably get rid of the face id scanner and replace it with just the camera and then use the space the face id scanners used to take up to make room for the headphone jack

The whole reasoning through curved AMOLED does not hold any grounds given that the curve is needed at only ONE edge of the display where the controller lies. Last I remember, iPhone was still having four edges in their models.
